Yes! Absolutely do a coyote swap. I’m still mid swap but it’s already awesome lol.

    Number Tew's Number Two Build

I figure it's time for an update. I've had the car back for quite some time now. Today I decided to delete the hood latch, because I've been worried the cable would snap. I trust the aerocatch pins, so hopefully I won't have an issue. The passenger window decided it didn't want to go down - and before you ask, yes I did the ol beat the door SN95 trick, nothing. I pulled the motor out, took it apart and found, well, nothing. No issues. I put everything back together and it worked perfectly fine. It was the strangest thing. Had to replace the battery the other day. We are trying to get it to a point to drive it more frequently, including going to events. I need wheels and tires and racing seats and I'll be happy. I've been taking it out beating the crap out of it with no issues other than my noisy coil overs. I'm really starting to think about doing a Coyote swap.....

we're probably going to fab a larger PS res, the issues with stock tank is the fluid gets too hot, and doesn't de-gas before re-circulation, needs more capacity. causes a jittery feel in the wheel, which my truck does do sometimes. Ford says it's within spec... 👎 We're on step 105 of 203!....

Thanks for the welcome. The Delmarva peninsula is a terminal moraine located on the East Coast. Del,(Delaware)Mar(Maryland)Va(Virginia). While the Gen 2 swap is enticing, I am getting sticker shock from the pricing. I'm leaning towards a 4 bolt stroked Windsor with a Sniper EFI, similar power to the Gen 2. After the clone is on the road I will do a resto on the Cobra.

Idk what the Delmarva Peninsula is but welcome aboard! I think for sure keep the cobra drivetrain in the cobra. Gen 2 coyote the clone and send it!

    Welcome To SN95Source.com: Paul webster

Greetings. I'm here to pick brains and share. I have 2 SN95's. One is a 1994 Black Cobra barn find. It has an SVO block, crower cam and a KB 2.2 L blower, and has been idle for 10 years. Oh yeah it has only 28K on the odometer (about 10K on the SVO block.) The other is a 1995 Cobra clone (GT). White with a black top. (Not a vert) It has no drivetrain (or radiator) and 142K on the odometer. The plan was to put the Cobra SVO motor in the clone, but i am having second thoughts. I am leaning toward a crate motor for the clone. Fascinated by the thought of a Gen 2 coyote swap I live on the Delmarva peninsula. My daily driver is an AWD Edge.

I didnt like the look and fit of the 90* silicone coupler and had concerns on being able to fit a T bolt clamp as well, ao i elected to go with something different. I drew up a 105* elbow to better work with the dimension i needed and 3D printed it with a pair of sleeves to slip into the current CF cai pipes: then mocked it all in place: with that done, once it warms up i’ll do some body work to smooth it all out and them mold the elbow, then make one in carbon fiber. I also took a little time the other day to makeup the vacuum block mount: then i installed the vacuum block under the intake using one of the knock sensor bolt holes. I also heated and reformed the factory plastic vacuum linea and hooked up all of the vacuum lines for the fuel rail sensor, hvac box and boost gauge. I picked up a flexible stainless steel universal radiator hose off ebay a few weeks back. It was only $20 ans looked better than one of the universal rubber radiator hoses, so i figure what the hell and picked one up. I installed that as well while i was rolling around under the car installing the exhaust: The only items left for the engine/drivetrain install is the Cai, driveshaft shortening, upper radiator hoses and the maf/iat wiring extension.

And in the process of getting all that other stuff done, find the right deals and boost it from the beginning. Lol

little progress. Been looking for a few parts. Larger PS reservoir, bought online 3x and recieved emails 3x stating it is no longer available.... This is a EcoBoost Rad, supposed to be able to fit, will know here soon. Also, can't find those Ford Racing blue valve covers anywhere, so these are in for plasti-dip

No, I’m not afraid of it at all. The engine was built for boost! I have too many projects going on that need to be finished before I can worry about completing the blower kit. Tires, electrical, rear end swap, TA/PHB/rear sway bar install... I’m going to get the car running and put a few hundred, easy break in miles on it. Check filter for metal. You know the process.

You couldn’t of came up with a better pic than that?!?! She’s got no meat on her bones and wouldn’t even get it done for my dog!!!!! 🤣 in all seriousness, that motor is gonna see boost. Several of the reputable builders I e dealt with over the years have always said if it’s gonna be boosted, start it off with the boost. Or is it your afraid to make that much of a jump in power all at once and kill your self???

I don’t see how you could do it. Its like having a beautiful woman with the finest ass right in front of you and you tell her she has to wait for a lil fun cause “that is still the plan” Who does that?!?!? 🤣
