    Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy turkey gobbler to all! Took the car to dinner last night. Got too drunk so my dad had to drive it back to his house. It still runs silly but for the most part it's good so the learning curve for him was fun. Hope all enjoyed! Dumb video because.

Mustang Week 2015 - Unofficial Meet N Greet

These are pretty crappy pictures but I thought I'd share them. They are from the "Unofficial" Meet N Greet held on Monday near the Hard Rock cafe. There was even an "unofficial unofficial" meet n greet the day before loaded with as many cars as the unofficial meet n greet last year!

    Fresh Meet Spring Bash 2015

Here are some pictures from the second car show I attended this year. As usual, I have a 99% chance of not adding all of my photos to Flikr. I like sleep more. =/ I drove down with my buddy who owns this really clean R32. The fitment on this thing is just perfect: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112175695@N06/sets/72157651767056647 Here are my first uploads from the show and the link to my album. College Park Tuning Spring Charity Meet

This was my first car show of 2015 and it definitely started with a bang. After I saw the LB GTR, I was done. My year is already complete. I went with some guy's from CJ Pony Parts whose cars are pictured first. Bill's 2015 GT. CJ's Focus ST. Chris's 2011 GT. Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112175695@N06/sets/72157652052080062/ I welcome any constructive criticism. This was my first time using my polarizing filter and lens hood which I got for Christmas.

    Knoedown 2014

This is the second year the Knoedown and it's one of my favorite shows. It's open to all cars but a majority of the vehicles are volkswagens and other Euros (Unfortunately, I didn't get to take my Mustang and represent ). The event is held at Knoebels which is a free admission amusement park. You simply pay for the rides you want to go on. It's friendlier and less business-eeee than Hershey Park so I feel it caters to families and young children. I think it helps keep the car guys on their best (better...) behavior too. I didn't want to strangle anyone. I went with my buddy who owns the white R32 on air with white BBS CH's.
  10. If anyone is interested, I will be attending this event. I've never been there before but I always wanted to go to a legit roll racing event and I love horsepower! Spectator price: $45 currently $50 after August 22nd $60 after October 1st https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?oeidk=a07e9n2uw928a1ede72&oseq=&c=&ch=

  12. I'd like to take pre-orders for cruise shirts which will run $20 each. You can pay through paypal and I will have the shirts at Mustang Week. I can also ship them for an additional $5. There would not be an increase of shipping on a second shirt if you want two. This will help me figure out how many shirts I need to make and also help pay for the initial cost of making the shirts. I will be making threads on other websites as well to pre-order shirts which will include a link back to SN95Source. I'll take pre-orders until the end of the day Sunday June 29th (6/29) then I'll be having the shirts made. Stickers will be made as well which I will have at Mustang Week. If you have a shirt shipped, I will include a sticker. Payments can be made by paypal (Select gift ) to Rustang12@gmail.com Include a message with your payment with the following information: Name Forum and account name Phone number or email address Pickup at MW or Shipping address Shirt size and amount of shirts SN95Source will be on the front and the design will be on the back. 13. I don't plan on using these since I have Corbeau buckets and I'm making a rear seat delete. They're just taking up space. There is a tiny slit on the passenger seat as pictured. Otherwise the seats are pretty darn mint. A little wrinkling on the driver seat and barely any on the other seats. Located in Harrisburg, PA. $1500. I will have these for sale at Ford Carlisle. Customer Appreciation Day 2013!

The beginning of summer means that CJ’s Customer Appreciation Day is right around the corner! What could be better than browsing a sea of Mustangs with your friends and family, enjoying free food and drinks, and meeting some of CJ’s staff and fellow car enthusiasts? Each year, CJ Pony Parts is proud to give back to all our loyal customers and the central Pennsylvania community by hosting our annual Customer Appreciation Day (CAD). This year, CAD will be on Saturday, August 10th from 9am-2pm EST at our Harrisburg, PA location. We invite everyone to cruise to CJ’s in their Mustang, while our Premium Parking Permit program will again be available for those looking to score a prime spot! More details on the Premium Parking Permit, including information on how to take part this year, are coming very soon, so check back! Those showing off their prized Mustang are entered in the Popular Vote Car Show, which is free to all attendees and includes five voting categories: Best Early Model Mustang (1964.5-1978) Best Fox Body Mustang (1979-1993) Best SN95 Mustang (1994-2004) Best S197 Mustang (2005-2014) Best of Show We wouldn't be one of the top Mustang parts and accessories retailers without all of our loyal customers, along with the support of our local community. Each year at CAD, we seek to give back to the community by hosting a charity drive, and in the past few years we've established a great relationship with The Four Diamonds Fund. This year, we’re supporting them again by giving them all of our donations from the day, including the money from t-shirt and food sales and the charity auctions. We were all beyond ecstatic at last year’s CAD to have set a new record by donating an amazing $30,000 in one day! We’re sure that with your help, we can give even more to this cause. If you aren't familiar with the outstanding work that The Four Diamonds Fund does, here is a bit about them from their website: The mission of The Four Diamonds Fund is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research. Any family with a child being treated for pediatric cancer at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital is automatically eligible for support. The fund has helped more than 2,000 families since 1972. Approximately 100 new families receive support each year. We’re happy to announce that CAD Premium Parking Permits are BACK, but you better get yours quick – they go fast! For only $25, you can park in one of the most prominent spots at our Customer Appreciation Day 2013 (CAD). For those attending this year’s Customer Appreciation Day with their Mustang, we’re offering access to CAD’s best parking spots – right in front of the CJ building! By purchasing a CAD Premium Parking Permit, you will be directed away from the sea of Mustangs in our rear lot, and given a premium, reserved spot in front of the building. This year, we’ve found a way to make your CAD experience even better! CJ’s is now introducing our all-new Dyno Shootout for CAD 2013. If your car is chosen for the Dyno Shootout deal, your Mustang will be in the spotlight even more. You’ll have the opportunity to get your Mustang on the dyno at In Tune Autoworks during CAD for a couple pulls, and it will have a reserved parking spot in one of the six spots in front of the CJ Pony Service building! Here’s how it works: We are looking for some cars that will put down some serious horsepower with a special Trophy for the Mustang that puts up the biggest number! If you’re interested in the Dyno Shootout, you must download and submit an application, along with a few pictures of your Mustang. CJ’s staff will review the applications in the order they were received, then notify the six Mustang owners who were selected (and those who were not). If your Mustang is selected, the price for entry into the Dyno Shootout is $50 (entirely benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund), which CJ’s will invoice you directly. However, please note – Those who are not selected will still have the option to purchase a Premium Parking Pass separately if you wish to have a parking spot reserved at CAD. Do NOT purchase a Premium Parking Permit before we notify you of our decision regarding your Dyno Shootout application. HURRY! Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis and there are ONLY SIX (6) spaces available! All CAD Dyno Shootout participants MUST be at CJ Pony Parts on August 10 by 9am so we can schedule your dyno run. If your Mustang does not already have a CJ Pony Parts windshield banner, one will be provided to you and installed, free of charge! Purchase a Premium Parking Permit For Only $25 Download CJ Pony Parts/In Tune Autoworks Dyno Shootout Application Form Download CJ Pony Parts CAD Premium Plus Package Release Form Email completed application, release, and pictures to: bill@cjponyparts.com Entry will not be processed without a completed application and signed release form.

    Interceptor Invictus

Well, since I'm new here and all, I wanted to start a thread showing what all I have done up to this point and what my future plans are. You ready? Sweet, read on: When I picked up my DSG Stang, she looked something like this: Total loss of the front bumper cover, shock absorber and damage to the driver's side fender and to the passenger side quarter panel. For $1500.00 bucks and with only 50k on the clock at the time though, my 18 year old self could't refuse such a deal. Little did I know, there was more than mere cosmetic damage; the subframe was tweaked slightly, as well the the K-Member. The oil-pan was also jacked up pretty good, and the steering rack had it's mounts all but severed off. To top it all off, the factory "Torque Thrust" style rims were bent as well. So it was on to a few more weeks of driving my old Ford Focus around. Fortunately, I had some cash in my pocket from graduating from military schools. I got started as soon as I got all the parts: I drove it around in that working order for a few months, even though I was still working out some bugs. The 'stang still felt down on power though, and looked like every other DSG and Mineral Grey 'Stang on the road: After some time, the mod bug bit me and I added a new hood, a rear end blackout kit, a set of MSD COP's and Iridium spark plugs, projector style headlights, a CAI and handheld tuner, and an interior dress up kit. Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to take photo's of everything I did, but here's what I have, which is pretty good representation of how she sits now: Currently, I have a Kenne Bell 2.1 Intercooled kit, subframe connectors, H&R Race Springs, Koni Shocks, and a few other minor things waiting to go on once I get back from Afghanistan in the Fall. Thanks for reading, and if you are interested, I will be posting more as I work on her.
  24. https://www.youtube.com/watch?fv=nE4xTt8SEFw 1994 was a big year for the Mustang. After being saved twice in the last ten years from bean counters who preferred the Ford Probe, the car received it’s first significant styling change in 15 years. The SN95 platform has been controversial since the day it was revealed to the public. The car was a darling of the mainstream automotive press, even winning the coveted Motor Trend Car of the Year award. Ford was attempting to market the ’94 as the second coming of the Mustang. Many enthusiasts weren't too sure though. The car was heavier than it’s Fox-body predecessor, and featured several funky new innovations that made it slightly more difficult to modify. The styling too was a classic example of Ford’s “let’s make everything round or oval” philosophy of the 1990’s. Mention retro styling to any Mustang fan and they likely think of the current S197 Mustang platform, Ford tried to market the SN95 Mustang though as having retro cues, and recapturing the magic of the first car. We recently found this video of a 1994 Mustang commercial. The theme for the car’s marketing campaign initially was “It is what it was, and more.” The commercial highlighted things like the scoops for the rear brakes, the three bar tail lights, and the horse in the grille, trying to draw a parallel between those styling cues and the original 64 model. The SN95 was supposed to have styling cues adapted from the original Mustang. There’s no mention of engines, or horsepower, just some dramatic music, followed by the obligatory 90’s guitar riffs. Then there’s that thing we never understood in 90’s car commercials, the car has to drive on wet tarmac splashing water everywhere. We’re not sure what that was all about, but a lot of auto makers used that back then in their car commercials. Maybe the 90’s were especially rainy, we don’t really remember. We’re still not sure what cars driving on wet pavement had to do with marketing them, but it was a theme in a lot of 1990′s commercials. Check out the video, it’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 20 years since this was airing on prime-time TV, and regardless of what you think of the SN95’s this was the car that saved the Mustang name, and got us to where we are today.
