Velocity Stacks on the V6

The kit looks a bit sketchy though, and not cheap by any means....actually I should say really sketchy lol.

I have heard my fair share of bad experiences with moranav6racing, everything from bad products that doesn't deliver anything they promised and/or were crap interms of build quallity. And then their customer service being crap.

^ I think the term here would be individual throttle bodies. Doubtful anyone makes a kit for a Ford V6 though, but I could be wrong.
It's a fuel injected motor, why would anyone put a velocity stack on it?

I got the terms mixed up, sorry about that.

That guy is a mega scammer.

He's known for taking money from countless people and never giving them product. He's also ripped off many other people's ideas and is trying to profit from them.

Most of the stuff on his website has never actually been show to work on a running motor. It's all concepts and prototypes that he's trying to sell.

That's what I was kind of thinking looking at the triple velocity stack/triple TB setup, the throttle bodies looked like they were just laying on top of a piece of aluminum plate that was stitch welded onto a lower intake... I wouldn't send the dude $50 for that setup lol, looks like junk he snagged for $20 at a swap meet, piled on top of a motor.

That was just the only thing I ran across, probably the case because it must not be something worth the effort to do. I've seen ITB's on many EFI V8 builds and even with great tuning software, aftermarket computers, etc. they still seem to be tough to get to run right, not to mention the retail cost for a kit.

I will say though, few things have the visual presence and amazing sound of a sick ITB setup.

From my understanding (in the Honda world) ITBs are a big PITA to tune and aren't reliable for the street.

I had a friend who had a Honda Del Sol with ITBs on some Honda motor and it ran pretty damn good but was always having problems.

they are just porno to look at

I agree 10000000 percent. I still wanna run itbs on my car. I figure if I can figure out how to self tune I'll totally do it. I've been floating ideas in my head. Basically you'd create a faux "skin" on the underside of your hood and that would act like a windbox. So when your hood is open its just omg itb. But when you close it, its just like a sealed intake.

^ perhaps some kind of foam liner inside a hole in the hood, with a panel filter above it, leading to cut-open Y2K extractor vents. When the hood closes the ITB's would press into the foam to seal out debris and draw air through the filter above.

Sweet baby jesus would it be a PITA to get the placement and clearances right though lol.

Haha yessss exactly! And good god it would be such a pain in the ass. Im gonna have to cad it up this weekend bit my original though was you would even be able to run a maf, but your car wouldn't be able to run without the hood closed haga

If you want itbs look at throttle bodies for motorcycles. They are way cheaper than any kit out there. If you can fab an intake that bolts up with injector bungs(single port would probably be easier). A lever that actuates the throttle bodies equally along with a idle screw. And run a tunable speed density system using a map sensor to meter air. Then you might have a badass intake with crazy responsiveness :)

That would be porno, but I am not that good.
