Here is what my current project is. Blacking out all the plain aluminum items, getting mmr valve cover spacers and bolts, Shaving a upper b intake and custom powder coat black with red fins, tucking the harness as much as possible, new bolts everywhere stainless, tucking wiring harness, shaving off lower radiator hose fitting off cross over tube, ditching overflow tank for meizere slim tank, and swapping in a moroso power steering can. I'm sure there is more somewhere... Sorry for the garbage pics..

awesome mustang! when you say blackig out all the plain aluminum, what exactly are the parts you are blacking out? just wondering

Just like the tensioner and all the aluminum pieces as in the intake etc..

@Dan, I love the pics man had to post them up! thanks for taking them for me!

Thanks for all the comments guys! I love this car more than anything and its really cool seeing my vision turn into a reality!

Here's tonights progress... Pretty happy with it. I over had to extend two wires.. Its a bit of a cluster but actually added more space to the downpipe area and what now which, made me feel alot better about engine bay fires lol.

rolled it out to drain the anti freeze...

Move all of the drivers side harness to the fender

p><p>very clustered up.. i don

after

fca1eacaf40f11e2ac6522000a9f13a4_7.jpg

in order to properly delete the overflow tank i needed to delete the fitting to the overflow tank from the lower mustang gt hose i used on this. I used a radiator hose repair kit for 9.99 at advance auto parts.

IMG_4789.jpg

here is the other modification to the harness. only thing i had to extend besides the starter wire, on the started wire i just took a battery cable and bolted it to the started. black taped over the bolt and connection that put a double loom and taped it again. i know its not the best way but has worked on all my other cars and most will never notice its there...

I have a upper b intake coming in the mail... the next project is to shave the iac, egr, and the vacuum port off the driver side. and move the vacuum ports to the back of the head.. possibly front mounting the throttle body as well? idk yet will be looking into the difficulty of it. Tomorrow I need to drill 4 holes in the thermostat, hopefully shave the extra port off the cross over tube, mount the power steering reservoir with bracket, install moroso brake reservoir cover, and install the new catch can..

Looking good man! I know first hand how much fun you've been having messing with that wiring harness for the fuse box... especially the nasty sticky black shit that the wires all seem to have on them.

Everything looks great! im a big fan of the clean bay. My drivers side fenderwell has less stuff then that in it. May be because im older push rod and deleted most of that stuff. Mines not to much prettier though.

haha I will but whenever I start a project it takes exponentially longer than it should! It sounds like a good winter project for me! I gotta pull my fender off so I can drill out one of the bottom bolts that snapped off so that'd be the perfect time!

Looks awesome Billy, 100x better now that you can see the turbo sitting there front and center. The crossover delete really cleaned up things a ton too :thumb:

Thanks man its coming along... I'm just tired of working on it so much lol

Well I only have to extend the wires on the alternator and I'll be done... alot of work! but almost done atleast!

Looking awesome! I had thought about moving my fuse box but didn't want to deal with it haha

How did you condense all the wires on the passenger side back by the firewall? Mine got all cluttered up over there when I was attempting to just clean up my wiring.

I tucked them all in the inner fender and routed the harness into the inner fender from the tranny. Very simple!

Here is this weekends progress. Hoping to get the -10 line for the coolant mod routed after work tomorrow and bleed the system and drive it, if all is well it will get retuned on 17psi this week!

Awesome man, that cooling mod looks 1000x better than before

Thanks Dan, hopefully tomorrow I can get all intake pipe back and start it up and check for leaks and hopefully all my electronics work lol.... Its really nerve racking doing a wire tuck, any small mistake can burn your car down... :(

Prokiller- My car was on a 11 psi before extremely low timing... Hoping to lay down 700 rwhp on pump alone... and dip into 1000 hp zone on race gas..

Damn man... With an on3 performance turbo setup too! After i talked to you about it, I did a search and read a bunch of shit talking about them, but the folks doing the shit talking had never even seen their kit. You should contact them and let them know what you got going on, it's another success story. Haha 1000whp, holy damn!

Well things have got moving again on the project... I have been super busy with college and work too so that hasn't helped me plus I picked up a 03 cobra with 15k miles(i will post pics soon). The wheels came back from powdercoat (after 13 weeks  ), got the headers, resealed the whole motor with ford gaskets since felpro leaks, small misc powdercoated parts, rewrapped hot side piping, new weld rts for rear(need alumastars still), new turbo, new magnafuel pump, need injectors still, deleted abs, shaved intake, deleted ac delete pulley, adding catback IRS exhaust, adding sfc, and a roll cage. I still need the t56 and about pulled the trigger but I'll wait till I run out of small things 4k is alot of money lol. I'm sure I missed a few things, but anyways Here is some random pics I have took... enjoy..

Black HEI wrap.

Delete Abs  and rerouted lines.

Cleaned up wire tuck.

The cheap paint flaked off these... ocd kicked in and had them ceramic coated.

Got a stock intake and shaved it...

e9d859a23e7311e39a0222000ae91425_7.jpg

Finished shaving intake and made a SRI intake as well (no pics)

07e2185e4d9a11e38e9a12ecb8a8d1c7_7.jpg

picked up my refinished hre wheels...

Set the motor back in the car sunday.

Enjoy'd my dad off from work and school. Put everything back in car minus radiator, fan, turbo, need to hook up vaccum lines, and clearance a few of the brake lines..

and finally rolled it out side..

It is so dirty :( gonna start cleaning it up when I got my rear wheels and new tires mounted tomorrow. Went to a 305/35/18 so I could have moar low and less race car look. Just need some small things and a t56 swap. Can't wait to get it going again..
