Eaton Swap my 95 Gt

Recommended Posts

My need for boost got the best of me and I found a full eaton swap on the mach 1 forum and I pulled the trigger.

This is what I started with a full Mach 1 swap I did a little over a year ago.

Got the front cover on and had to cut the knock sensor bosses for intake clearance.

Plugged the bottom of the intake and put it all in.

Put in a metco lower pulley to simplify the blower belt.

what are the plans for the hood as i assume the stock hood doesn't clear the blower?

This what I have now but im going to put in a gt500 heat extractor for now. Long term plan's is a y2k hood.

What did you pay for the kit if you don't mind me asking? How long did the install take?

got the kit on the mach 1 fourm for $2900 and it took me 30+ hours over 3 days with some help. i got some of my money back when i sold my stock take off parts

Sounds awesome! Tough to beat that Eaton whine.

Nice numbers for sure, my car was tuned on a Mustang Dyno too, I'd be interested to see what numbers it makes on a dyno jet sometime.

love that torque curve, if you could even call it a curve.  it's so freakin flat!  this thing must be a beast to drive.

still those times are nothing to be ashamed about.  great mph just need to put them together.  I had similar results the last time i went to the track.  had a 12.1 at like 120mph and a 12.1 at like 114.  ended up leaking some coolant and got kicked out before i get my 11.  good luck next time alex.

oh and those wheels look kick ass on there.
