kellogg
im impressed.... where do we go from here? i have a cruise i am wanting to do at the end of the month and i will wait until then to send you my current chip. but in the mean time should i be rounding up neccassary parts? 64bit_Tuning
Order up your QH, get your wideband and software. Make sure you atleast have that stuff on hand. Mail me your chip and I'll rip the current tune off it and e-mail it back to you, so you can load it in and keep the car on the road. From there i just give you a set of criteria that i want to see in a datalog, you log it and mail it to me. then I make a revision and e-mail it over to you. and the cycle starts over. kellogg
ok.. you can tune this current mass air meter or do i still need the slot style?
64bit_Tuning
Since you had that sheet, I can work with it
ttocs
maybe see if we can find someone that will give a discount on 2 as I just dropped the motor back in. I am going to concentrate on the paint to try and get it done before its too cold to paint and get my parts ready to throw all back on after. I could pull/mail the chip as well. Steve-Oh
kind of off subject but not really,........if im setting my car to run on e85 and pump 93 can the qh hold multiple tunes like the sct 4 bank or would I have to change my tune with a laptop every time I switch fuels?!?!?!?https://www.moates.net/documentation.php?documentation_id=
64bit_Tuning
It can hold multiple tunes. but trying to switch between E85 and pump will not be easy without using a ethanol content sensor. You'd be surprised at how far the content swing is even if you think you have an empty tank. Youd probably want a pump gas tune, a 25% tune, 55% tune and a 75% tune, then switch to the appropriate setting according to the ethanol content readout. Im going to start working on making the CBAZA ecm flex fuel capable.Ill start up a thread on it tonight. sorry to thread jack, but for you to make an adjustment on my tune do I need quarter horse or all you need is my chip? Or is the quarter horse only nessisary for data logging, because I'm needing some drivability adjustments ie hanging idle hot start and some other little things.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
64bit_Tuning
Best way to do it is with a quarterhorse. Otherwise we're mailing the chip back and fourth.
ttocs
so the QH plugs into the computer or the chip goes into the QH?
64bit_Tuning
Qh goes into the computer, the same way a chip connects.
