exhaust leak on the elbow

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I need your help. I found exhaust leak on the elbow (see pic)

It is broken.

What is the name of this part?

Shoud I buy new or maybe plug by welding or some blind gasket if this could be unscrewed.

looks like the end is already capped.  It could probably be welded or I think you can pull that pipe out and plug/cap it off further down since it looks to be capped already?

End was capped a few years ago. during smog pump delete.

It's hard to show but pipe is broken (point at the top of red arrow)

that pipe connects to ports on the back of each head.  just remove it and plug the holes in the heads.  they make plugs for them

EDIT: thermactor plugs is what they are called

Thank you.

I found that  thermactor plug is 5/8"-11 1" and ordered in local shop.

Next week I will try fix it.

I just cut the blocks off the pipe, flipped them around and bolt them to the opposite head
