I liked the Roush styling. And since I know it was factory parts installed I know it was done right.

Bought the V6R home with too much chrome for my taste.

NewWheels4.jpg

Most of the changes done where suspension and motor, outside all you see different are the hood, headlights and wheels.

DSC00328.jpg

The '98 the day after I got it two years ago in Oct.

Roush1.jpg

Not much has changed at all on the outside: Wheels off the white car and wing swap.

im feeling your capri man, i have an 85 that im doing some work on. what are your plans for it?

Knuckles

Currently just doing the paint/body work. It's got a few dings that I want out. I've had the car for 3 years, figure I might as well make it look pretty. 1984 was the only year they offered the tri-color paint (photo at the bottom of post). I plan on redoing that, with a twist. Instead of tape stripes and decals, I'm going to paint it all on, then clear over top of all of it. I'll be putting the FR500's (18x9 w/ 275/35ZR18's front and 18x10 w/ 285/35ZR18's rear) back on it when I get it done, but I've only had about 3 miles on them since purchasing them new back in January. Figured the Cobra could "borrow" them for awhile. I'll keep the mild 306 that's in it (posted the engine specs in the pushrod section) until it blows up, and I'll throw a bunch of road race suspension at it, and hopefully get it on the track. I'd like to be able to drive it on the street once in awhile, but it will pretty much be a race car. I'll use the 17x9 Cobra R's that were on the Cobra when I got it, and put some good road course tires on them.

Holy fark an opal with a porno gut ...now that has to be the rarest of the rare. Ive only heard of one other from a guy who always stops to talk to me at carlisle. Not even he knows how many were produced in that combo but I bet its less than 50 as mine is 1 of 95 and its no were close to being as rare as a porno gut. Do you have any info on that car MMR
