Recommended Posts

I just wanted to quickly invite everyone to an upcoming ALL-FORD POWERED charity car show, the Mid-Atlantic Ford Round-Up (MAFRU) on September 29th at Wynne Ford in Hampton, Virginia.

The show is being hosted by Peninsula Mustang Enthusiast and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, a local children’s hospital. This year has been our most successful yet with our events gathering 150-200+ cars and raising over $5,000 this year to date.

The Mid-Atlantic Mustang Round-Up is open to ALL-FORD POWERED vehicles (see all classes below).

Pre-registration is $20 if paid by September 22nd, $25 day of show. Pre-register at, http://www.peninsulamustang.com/mafru-registration.html

Also,

Pre-registration is going great! Don't forget you save $5 if you register before September 22nd at http://www.peninsulamustang.com/mafru-registration.html

I have been asked how the awards will be presented. There will be around 30 classes, so if you have a Bronco you will NOT be competing against a Shelby or a Focus.

I have been asked about the awards. I am hoping to have a picture up in the next week or so, but they are custom made out of acrylic. They are not your standard trophies.

More things have been coming in for the raffle/auction including Brad Keselowski autographed items, California Mustang gift certificates, Mustang parts, wash buckets, banners, SilverHorse Racing items, National Parts Depot gift certificates, Blow By Racing gift certificates, Street Side Auto gift certificates, CJ Pony Parts gift certificates, golf passes, race ramps, Classic Design Concepts gift certificates, Lucas Oil products, K&N gift certificate, t-shirts, signs, and much more!

Look forward to seeing everyone at the event! Let's have some fun and raise money for the kids at CHKD!

If you have any other questions, let me know!

If you guys are in the area clean up those cars and get out there, it's for a great cause!!! Scott I told my wife about it and as soon as she heard CHKD she gave me the frown face as she really misses working there.

how far away from VA beach is that? I will be in VA beach from sept 28th- Oct 5th. I may have to meet up with some of you guys and go there but wont have my car with me..

45-60 minutes from the ocean-front depending on traffic. There will be a lot of people cruising over from that side of the water, just not sure where they are meeting yet.

yeah it's not a bad ride at all. I use to live in VA Beach and my dad lives in Yorktown which isn't that far from the show and I use to visit him from time to time. You'll have a good time no worries there.
