  1. Revived! Took some pics in the driveway last week.... 17x8 and 17x11 AR TT2's. 315/30R17 BFG DR back, 245/40R17 BFG front
  2. I just am a huge fan of cleaning up all the lines on these cars. The factory tolerances and some of the body panels are not that great. It seems odd to me that more people don't do some of these little things when they repaint them...or anytime for that matter
  3. Im always checking for updates on this thread! Keep it up!
  4. How do they drive on the street? Or do you have another set.
  5. Still got some snow here, and the side of the roads are a mud/gravel/garbage mix. Probably going to be May for taking the car out of storage.
  6. Nice work. You could add 245/40R17 for a front tire on 17x8, that's what I am running and I love it.
  7. Kitchener Ontario. Our roads are shit here. I might have to lift my mustang this summer, so much frost heaving and potholes.
  8. Never sat in a kirkey. most people seem to say they are not bad either. I'm assuming a 4point cage would be less than 20 lbs, which alongside kirkeys would be lighter than a set of corbeaus... not sure though...
  9. thanks I'd love to hear more thoughts to sway me one way or the other. I do have subframe connectors, and I never use the back seat, it's gone, so a 4 point cage wouldn't bother anything. I've sat in corbeau fx1 and thought they were ok.
  10. I'm not a fan of the shoulder bolsters though, they just seem to constricting for a street car. Plus if I'm only drag racing why would I need them.
  11. I want to see or hear from guys that have put aftermarket seats in. I am trying to decide between 2 options. 1. 4 point cage with Kirkey drag race seats. 2. Corbeau clubmans - no cage 1996 cobra. The car gets drag raced 5 weekends a year, and about 1200 miles a year is what I've averaged for milage over the last 8 years. The car runs low 13's and no plans to get too much faster, it's only for fun. What do guys think
  12. Stock gt bumper. Not too many nice sn95's running the stocker, way to many cobra bumpers.
  13. Yes, not completely shaved , just the gaps that run around the scoops. I've never seen anyone do it, if you know of any pictures I'd love to see them.
