  1. For my 95 gt, I'm wanting to get better lighting. I have tried to adjust my headlights and idk if something is just broke or what but they won't they still face down on the road. So I'm ordering new headlights but was also considering running LED for the headlights and fog lights, but I have seen mixed comments about having to do the conversion kit and I have seen some that just say I need to upgrade the signal flasher for a led based one like a Raxiom? So I'm looking for some input on anybody that knows I've been searching with no luck.
  2. The last time I ordered gauges I got them from egauges.com they seem to usually be a few dollars cheaper, at least from what I've found in comparison. I like how they build it in with the turn signals and everything also pre-wired. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to wire it like they do and if it's going to cost me close to what they sell it for then I may just let them do all the wiring work with the gauges and dash panel.
  3. Well, thats what I'm trying to decide is if it would be better to just buy maybe the housing and do the gauges myself. Black housings Blank (undrilled - no holes) Cluster Housings. $ 110.00 Drilled Cluster Housings................................ $ 145.00 Custom Drilled Cluster Housings.................... $ 200.00 Racepak housings...........................................$125.00 Carbon Fiber / Brushed Aluminum ABS housings Blank (undrilled - no holes) Cluster Housings. $ 135.00 * Drilled Cluster Housings............................$ 165.00 Custom Drilled Cluster Housings................. $ 235.00 * Note: Brushed Aluminum and Carbon Fiber housings need proper tools to cut. Customer assumes all responsibility when ordering. Brushed Aluminum and Carbon Fiber (gloss & matte finish) ABS Plastic Built Instrument Clusters (with standard series gauges) C-494L - $ 725.00 C-494S - $ 725.00 C 694SE - $ 905.00 For pricing on all non-standard gauge series built clusters. 4. Well from what the site says it is not plug in play just gauges are pre-wired. This unit replaces the factory Ford Instrument Cluster. See Special note below *** The 1994 - 2004 Instrument Cluster comes as a one-piece unit. The Instrument Cluster comes pre-built, assembled and fully wired. All 94-04 Clusters use Electric Speedometers, since the factory Speedometers where electric. Turn signal and hi-beam lights are included. Complete installation instructions and needed hardware are included. These are not Plug-N-Play units, wiring to vehicle is needed. Standard gauge clusters consist of AutoMeter's Phantom, Sport-Comp and a combination of Sport-Comp / Pro-Comp* series gauges. Note: AutoMeter does not offer 2 1/16" gauges or a 3 3/8" Electrical Speedometer in the Pro-Comp series. Prices of other gauges (Ultra-Lite, Cobalt, Phantom II, Carbon fiber, etc...) will vary. Notes: For more information about the actual wiring and connecting of our built Instrument Clusters, please read all the FAQ's, especially the one pertaining to the Alternator.
  5. Does Anybody on here have the florida50 gauge cluster? I love the look of them but those prices, even though I guess it seems they come prewired. Just debating if I would want to go that route or buy the cluster and put my the gauges in myself. I had cobalt gauges in my old fox and loved them. I dont really care for the sn95 cluster, and mine is starting to mess up anyway.
  6. No paint was coming up when I was doing it
  7. Exactly I'm trying to not get over excited and get in over my head but this will be my 1st complete strip down build, for now, I'm just trying to get the most bang for my buck. I would like to end up with around 500'ish whp, without jeopardizing the block or anything else. The engine that's in it I don't think it hurt to bad but something is going on, under hard acceleration, I hear a lot of clatter/tapping. So I take it easy hence why I was getting ready to do another 302 just didn't know with the pricing of a stroker kit if I should have gone ahead and stroked it along with the turbo and had fun for a few years then got a dart block and built something better. However, after all the input it seems to make more sense to just keep it a moderately built 302 with h/c/i/turbo etc, then when time and funds permit to do something more.
  8. I did a little waxing just by hand but what products are best to use with a buffer or any other suggestions? http:// http:// http://
  9. Thx great info yea at this point in time 5k isn't in my cards yet. So with that being said, I should keep the 302 block stock just if anything do good forged internals along with a good h/c/i set up then boost. just don't go crazy with too much boost correct?

    Set ups?

I don't want to go crazy with the spending at least not yet some of this will be income tax money and my bonus from work, cause I'm working and going to school full time with wife and 3 kids so I'm not looking to blow it all, or have my testicles removed in the process lol, just looking to make a difference in my ride. My main issue with the suspension is my back, I have back issues from the military and trying to make the ride a little more comfortable and when I'm making more power would like for it to make it to the ground.
  11. I wasn't going to go too serious on the build if I kept it a 302, So whats a 302 capable of making safely like 5-600 hp safely?? So Dart block for a 302 would be what like starting around 2500 from what I've seen.
  12. hell yeah! sounded great josh

    Set ups?

Ok, so my Mustang is basically all stock and I'm trying to decide what suspension I want to get. I would like to maintain a good ride quality as it is my d/d but get more out of the performance end. The only racing it would see is the drag strip so road racing/course don't matter to me. IMO the ride quality in the 95 sucks especially after owning a coyote, so I want it to be a lot better than it is now.
