  2. So I've been in the mustang game since the mid 1990's. Back in the late 1980's to early 1990's I was a Camaro guy and spent quite a bit of money on going fast. I had a few camaros including 1969, 1976, 1980, 1985 Iroc, and 1986 Z28. I bought a 1989 LX coupe and never looked back! Took that car to a 10 second 1/4 mile with a 347 stroker and nitrous rowing a 5 speed back in 1996 and driving it to the track. Later on it became a race car and I took it too far and lost interest, sadly selling it right before I got married in 2000. I then went thru quite a few project cars over the years
  3. OK guys this is going to be a long and tedious tale of one hell of a transformation. I've been on here a while but I couldn't remember my username or password so I had to make a new profile, all is well though as this gives me a fresh start with a community I've spent more time with than I can care to recall. Back Story: I have owned 3 GTs in years past and my 94 5.0 convertible was my first car. Ever since the ripe young age of 16 I've always dreamt of having my own Cobra. 10 years later I have started my tale. From the pics this car doesn't look half bad, but

    2v -> 4v

    How difficult would it be to swap 2v heads to 4v? What do I need besides the head?

  6. SORRY FOR LONG INTRODUCTION. New to this forum, decided I'd give a little background before getting into my first thread here. I have grown up in a Ford family, and have been through many cars growing up.. over the past two years my father passed down his first car that he never sold - a '69 mustang fastback that has been through upwards of 7 motors and who knows how many colors - and I completely restored it. Metalwork, bodywork, built the engine, etc. (He had let it sit outside for over 10 years.) My family owns a family-run garage here in NC and in general we are dedicated Ford people. My f
  7. I'm looking at purchasing a Cobra front bumper. I found that Rockauto has one for $128 bones. The price is great since I've found that beat up used ones go for more around here. Is their quality any good? Anyone with any experience? Thanks!
  8. All of these pictures are from the Official Meet N Greet at the Palace Theatre.
  9. These are pretty crappy pictures but I thought I'd share them. They are from the "Unofficial" Meet N Greet held on Monday near the Hard Rock cafe. There was even an "unofficial unofficial" meet n greet the day before loaded with as many cars as the unofficial meet n greet last year!
