Stock Fuel Line Replacement

Recommended Posts

This not a how to but more of a service bulletin and what to get thread. Ive read on other forums of guys being able to smell gas but with no visible leak turns out the fuel lines are getting old and worn. As these cars get older many of the stock lines and fittings will start to wear out. This problem seemed to be more prevalent in cars that have sat for longer periods of time. Russell stepped up and made fittings just for the 94/95's so this process can be done quite easy and for fairly cheap, around $130.00 total. Once I get all the issues figured out with mine I think I will go ahead and do this since over the past 2+ years my car has sat a lot. Being that I have not done this I wont write up a how to but it seems pretty straight forward but these are the items you will need.

A fire is one of those things that you can really do nothing about unless you have a fire extinguisher in the car ( which I do ) or you happen to be next to a fire station. I will most likely upgrade my fuel rails as well when I do this just for better clearance with the Fox TB swap with the intake I have the fit is tight.

This makes it so much easier to understand than the thread on corral or where ever it is! This is just to replace the lines in the engine bay correct?

This will be the next thing I do on mine once I get it running right. I could do it now but I vowed no more mods until I get everything else figured out and as of now I have no gas smell so I know it can wait. I just want to do it for the piece of mind.

These are the only 6 pieces needed?? I was confused by the other post and my shopping cart has a lot more in it than that for this project.

Travis if you plan on doing this let me know as I recently pulled all my fuel lines out of the car and wont be using my old set up. Its not the russell parts as they werent in existence when I did it. But I have a set up I made from parts I sourced from ronmorrisperformance and it ibasically lets you run ANlines in place of the rubber stockers. Ill give them to you free of charge as Ill be running a cell with AN lines all the way front to back.

I was actually putting together a Summit order with this stuff this morning and here I am too late!

All I had to do was extend the line that goes between the two rails in the front for wider intakes. Other then that the rest of the fuel system is the same. Rich I'll PM you my info if you want to send me free stuff :)

Not to sure about it working on a 4.6. Ford kept a lot of the car the same other then the engine but these fittings were specific for the 94/95 so its hard to say. Id call Summit racing or Russell Directly and ask them
