Knuckles Posted July 28, 2012 Report Share Posted July 28, 2012 did you let up? your 1/8 mph trap is faster than your 1/4 hahaim assuming hes still dialing the car in which is why he got out of it, or else he doesnt have the safety equipment to run into the 8.50s. Although im willing to bet its the forst of the two. Ysi363 Posted July 28, 2012 Report Share Posted July 28, 2012 Yea iRoush I was the pass right before my 8sec pass and I was fighting a vacuum leak all day found out it blew out the throttle body gasket and was only making 19lbs of boost after my 2nd pass I went from 154 mph right off the trailer to 148 so I started putting timing in the car to compensate for the lower boost, I run c-16 race fuel. After I fixed the gasket I left the timing the same and it picked up real big on the top side of the track and it got out of the groove and crossed the center line at the 1000' and I got back in my lane and coasted to what you see there I was so upset bc it would have gone a 8.70 something if not better, but not worth crashing over.
