Are you talking about 2v vs 4v usage? or what?

The 39lb I believe are fairly common in my setup. They have worked for what I need them to do, have an odd miss I get once in awhile. Wanted to make sure the injectors and the connection was good.

Have been pretty busy lately.
Almost done school and acceptabed a job recently. Pretty excited!

Found some time over easter to practice with the camera. Did a shoot my a couple friends; sti hatch and a srt8 jeep. I'll post a couple of my favorite pictures here just because, I'll also post some pictures I took of my car and a few my friend took!

Some rolling shots of my friends vehicles I took:
(First attempt at rollers)

Those rolling shots are sick!

I have a thing for those SRT8GC's... ugh ultimate DD

Thanks!

They are indeed very nice, not sure if I can justify the cost for the age of the vehicle though. Would be perfect other wise. The borla exhaust he just put on is jaw dropping! Nice and quiet during cruising but it turns to this orgasmic sound when wot.

Early graduation gift to myself... Corbeau LG1 black microsuede. Bought at Western Motorsports in Calgary. The rails are on their way

Figured it was time to start focusing on the interior and enjoy driving the car. Have also noticed my back is getting a bit more sensitive to seats, these are a lot better and I'll likely order the lumbar add on to further improve them. So this is step 1 of the interior!

Sorry for the shitty pictures, only have my phone and go pro on me.

Done school as a mechanical engineering technologist. All moved back to Lethbridge now.

Well...
Got pissed off at the car today. Have been having this weird intermittent miss for awhile, has been more frequent lately. After going through everything I got pissed off and decided to dig deeper. Started to suspect it could be a vacuum leak between the plate and the intake. Looks like I may have been correct.

Shit man, how did I miss the post about the Corbeaus? Congrats, those are some super nice seats!

Hopefully you get the bugs worked out under the hood. The motor is ridiculously clean at least! lol

Thanks Dan!

I'm excited about the Corbeaus, will need to pick up the rails later this week. Need the car running so I can show a person about possilby being a booth car at a big show in a couple of weeks. Excited about being considered for it at least, sounds like a big deal and good opprotunity. Models and everything there lol.

Well everything is back together! Started it up, pulled it out of the garage.... smoke. Opened the hood and right away I saw one of the rubber heater lines was punctured and pissing out coolant. Great, one of those days! Tracked down a hose, bashed my knuckles a few more times and the burped the system.

Took it for a test drive... Don't want to jinx anything but it's running better than ever! I'm pretty confident that was the issue! Finally found it!
I must have looked like an idiot driving down the road because I must have had a big dumb grin on my face.

Anyways, road trip tomorrow lol

Seats installed! Need to get better pictures of the after since these pictures don't do justice. Very happy with the seats though!

The seats are a bit lighter, nothing incredible but every pound matters. Wasn't expecting huge weight savings and not the reason I bought these. I find a sit slightly lower than the stock seats, but its a really nice seating position. I'm 5 11" and the seats are the perfect size for me, the top of the seat nicely rests at the correct part of my head instead of the bottom of my neck like the stock seats. The seats are much more comfortable and supporting compared to the stock seats. They're a bit firmer, but nothing horrible and I'm guessing they'll soften over time. I'll have to give them a road trip test, but I'm thinking they're a big improvement for comfort.

Really the only negative thing I have to say is I have to get use to reaching behind me for the seat belt since there is no more belt loop.

It was also a good opportunity to clean the carpet, found $2.35!

I think they suite the interior pretty well actually. But I've already been planning on adding more black accents down the road.

Well I spent the day with the random orbital, used compound and polish. Even though orange hides imperfections very well, I'm very happy with the results! I think it looks pretty good for 5 year old <$1000 home paint job.

Going to apply wax tomorrow morning... for the first time, opps haha.

A few more things and I'll be ready for Driven yyc.

Was busy all this weekend with Driven Calgary! It was a great show! 400 cars of pure insanity. Mostly imports and exotics, was refreshing compared to the normal car shows in the area. The show was essentially invite only to represent booths at the show.

I was shocked to be considered for the show and was super excited when accepted.

I was even more shocked when I got an award... definitely wasn't expecting that considering all the insane builds that were at the event. I ended up winning Judge's Choice, I forget how they explained it but it was something along the line of for a vehicle that didn't really fit a category but the judges felt the work done to the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle deserved recognition. I think something like that? Either way I was blown away.

Wow, a lot of nice cars in attendance. I think it's important to attend shows like this from time to time, so we can remind everyone how these Mustangs can be as well respected as anything else, competitive on a world stage, relatively speaking. I'd love to be able to attend something similar, actually thinking about attending a NOPI show this weekend.

New addition!

2007 f150 with under 150K KM and the 5.4L. So far it has exhaust, intake and box cover. Only thing I'm going to do to it is fix common issues. So headers and cam phaser lock outs.

and... it got minor hail damage yesterday. Oh well, it'll get fixed or I'll get money :) Its pretty minor, so I don't care either way.

I found a dealer that can get me a good deal on wheels I want... I have the money... I'm very tempted. I have a bunch of other plans for the car this winter too, but I'm a bit unsure of what to do...

There's a possibility of moving to Toronto in a couple of years since my girlfriend is think of becoming a chiropractor. If that happens it means I'll be there for 4 years I believe, so I would need a toy of some sort. It would be nice to have a vehicle that is less needy and will actually pass their emissions (I think it would pass? But they might not like the no EGR thing and its a long way to drive without knowing for sure). Something that is a little more simple and that someone else could repair if needed. It would also be nice to have a vehicle that could possibly be more oriented towards track use. Why not race the mustang? I dunno, I just don't really want to beat on something I care about. Maybe some of you have seen the movie "Love the Beast"? So I might be saving for a third vehicle instead of doing major projects to the mustang.

Anyways, the car isn't going anywhere and I will continue working on it. My plans may just not happen nearly as fast as I would like. I still have tons to work on over winter, just won't be doing any major projects.

With the truck I have my tuner and cam phaser lockouts. Just waiting on bolts and the wedge tool. So I'll be doing a cam phaser lockout and spark plug change sometime this month. I will hopefully be getting headers at some point too. Then I will no longer have a diesel sounding f-150 . Oh, I also have some LOBO badges coming (Mexico's F150) just to do something different.

LASTLY, sorry for those that actually read all my crappy engineering engrish. I have started my own website:

http://www.nopulp.ca/

It's still in the beginning stages, but it'll basically be my blog and projects page. Something to keep me busy and encourage me.

I'm looking for cars to shoot, so if you have something very clean or interesting let me know! I am by no means professional, just looking for practice and content for my website.

What are the samples for?

"Love the Beast" is an awesome movie!  Kinda sad seeing the Falcon skidding off the road and down the embankment into a tree.

My dad's F150 had the cam phaser diesel thing going on to his as well.  Much better now that it's all been fixed.

No real update on the car. I did a cam phaser lockout on my truck, which went very good. I also decided to change the sparkplugs while I was in there, only broke 8/8 sparkplugs... niiice. I'll post a blog about the cam phaser lockout and sparkplugs on my website later this week. Now I just need to replace an exhaust manifold on the truck, which I'm not ambitious enough to do. For the first time ever I'm going to get someone else to work on my vehicle... See how that goes.

Anyways, now that I have that out of the way I'll hopefully be able to plan and find time for winter projects.

Hey, I have some brand new-in-box headers for a 5.4 04-08 F-150 in my basement. I'd let them go pretty cheap. Not 'show quality' or anything just some headers.

Let me see what brand they are.

what were you hoping to pay?

Screw the economy!

Late start to this season of modding. I decided to blow through my student loan debt, I ended up paying it all off within 6months of graduating. Great feeling to be debt free. Now just focus on the car and putting money away for a house when the time in my life is right to buy!

Anyways, after years of looking......... I finally pulled the trigger on a set of wheels! I found a great deal on a new set in Canada! No long waits or US conversion. They will require spacers on the front. Hopefully everything fits, tried to do as much homework as I could. I've never seen even a picture of these on my body style! I also picked a finish that I never thought I'd try with orange...

Excited but nervous. See them in 1-2 weeks!
