I know @Prokiller will be happy about this one.  However I finally got the fog lights in.  Still need to order the bulb kit for it as I want them amber but they're in for now.

Just in case we forgot here is where we started:

Then I ripped those out and temp added some metal fill plates which chipped real bad:

Then the new lights in:

I took the last pic from far away because embarrassingly the pass light is already out.  Dunno if I wired them incorrectly or just the wire fell out (they were a little dicey to begin with).

That's it for now!

yay!!!  looks so much better

Thanks bud, figured you'd appreciate it.  The original one's were soooo bad, yellow and filled with dirty water.  Gross.  At least these look nice and semi-match the headlights.  We'll see when the HID's arrive how much better they'll look.

Also in the mix we've been working on the trucks in our holiday downtime.  I didn't take many pic's of the W900 but it got a new tool box on the passenger side, new mudflap tail light buckets and backup lights and a full detail.  Here's a little before and after:

I'll try to take pictures of the new rear light buckets and reverse lights today if I remember.

Next we did a bit of a face lift on the Mack.  We ordered new headlights for it way back when but they needed to have a bit of a custom install.

I'm not huge in the flashy shiney shit but they came out nice and my boss likes it!  My truck will have nooo shiney shit.  Anywho, since I drive this truck mostly one of the gripes was it had no external shovel mount.  So I broke out the torch and made some mounts on the inside header board so they're out of the way and don't ruin the smooth side on the body.

Last on the list was the truck always leaned hard to the left side.  It was driving me nuts so I told my buddy that it was something we need to figure out stat.  The problem with a lot of these drivers is that they just don't care at all so the guy he had driving before me didn't tell him shit.  So after crawling around for a few minutes and fucking with the load leveler we realized it wasn't that.   I started to compare both sides with everything and the last thing I checked was the suspension springs and u-bolts.  I saw that the forward drive axle driver side was missing 2" worth of spacers!  Huge problem.  So after everyone who fucked with this truck over the years never bothered to even look.  So ordered new u-bolts, spacers and brakes so that can be crossed off the list now too.

You can see the two black spacers under the gray spring and above the axle here (black blocks):

hahahaha I did paint them prior to leaving the shop, just no picture.  Funny thing is that we just grabbed random red paint from the cabinet and it matched perfectly!  I was like damn I'm good.

More updates on everything in a second.

The Jeep decided to nuke the trans the other week.  $3400 later she's back and driving better than ever.  Luckily it was all mechanical and avoided any expensive electrical shit to be replaced.  Just drove it to and from Shittsburgh last weekend and it was a dream.

Just a pic of her first day back out because!

Next on the list of trucks was PopPop.  This is the ugly duckly of my friends fleet.  It's a nice truck, comfortable to drive but severely underpowered and horrendously ugly.   He's getting a full makeover, more than any of the trucks he brought in.  First thing I did was pull off those ugly ass plow lights, I hated them ever since I saw this truck.  Plus they we useless because they pointed straight at the ground.  Also I pulled the beacon lights off the canopy and replaced them with some nice sequential LED lights recessed into the canopy.  This cleaned up the look up top and also made for more clear emergency lights for safety.  When we did this we got clear lenses and amber flashes while also replacing the clearance lights with clear lens lights for the body.  The truck is getting painted a combo of black and silver so it should streamline all the colors I think.

Here's when we first pulled him in:

You can see the terrible shape the grill was in finish wise.  Aside from that, the grille was actually in really great shape, no damage really.  We also filled in the holes for the Peterbilt logos on the side of the hood.  They're super expensive surprisingly and thought it would look more shaved without them.

Here's how we left it last night.  Put the new front bumper on and the new wheels.  It had old steelies on there which are about 100lbs front and 150lbs rear EACH.  The new aluminums are about 50lbs front and 65lbs rear, huge weight savings!  Also put on new boards at the top of the body, painted black of course.  It's hard to tell but we also offset the drop axle out.  We should see better stability when loaded and I personally think it looks better.

that really blows about the jeep.  the truck is looking better already

I was so mad when the trans blew in it.  I was ready to drive it into the guardrail on the highway.  Now it's fixed though and it drives like a dream!

A lot has been going on the past few months with lots of ups and downs.  The Jeep is finally fixed!  Trans is rebuilt, brakes are bled (Properly!) so it stops so well now and alignment done.  However just when one car was working well, our other car took a shit.  I knew something was wrong with it however I thought it was a little valve tap...  A little "valve tap" turned into a spun rod bearing and a nice knock.  We had no choice but to drive it so we drove it with the knock for a little while, then the day before Easter it threw the rod right through the block, very fun!

Ordered a "new" motor for it and decided to take the gamble.  Got the new motor installed and haven't been able to get it to run right since.  Computer is saying it is throwing a "cam sensor" code but there is no cam sensor on the motor .  With all the problems this car has caused since last summer we decided to call it quits.  We're looking at something newer, she wants a 2013+ Passat so that is what she's getting.

Also I've been hustling around to find my first truck for this season.  I've been driving for a friend of mine but really want to branch off on my own.  I'm finding out that it is WAY easier to buy a used car over buying a used triaxle.   Trying to find something you like with also being affordable is proving difficult.  People think their trucks are worth WAY more than they are and it's worse than the car scene.

However, the one truck is all buttoned up and took a picture of it on his maiden voyage.  Also been driving the black truck and it has since become very dirty.

The End!

Well I guess update.  The Saturn is gonezo and we ended up getting a 2014 Veedub.  She loves it!  It's the perfect car and has been so nice to drive.

The Jeep however is just that, The Jeep.  I just put new tires on it last Tuesday and ordered a few misc. items that needed to be fixed.  IE power steering reservoir leaks badly, rear sway bar links are shot and the steering box is slushy.  So all those things will be getting some love as soon as it warms up.

The truck, well the truck has been an expensive project to say the least.  I've gone through about 5-6 tires within the last couple months, one fuel transfer pump, one fuel line, main air feed line, about 17 fuel filters and water separators from the cold weather, two front wheel seals, one drop axle seal and I can't believe I listed most of that.
