  2. @Det_Riot i'm running a Comp Cam XE282HR and it has a pretty big lope, I wanted to run 3.55 rear gear but my engine builder said that I have to run a minimal of a 3.73 gear just it have decent driveability so that's why i'm running the 3.73 @95riosnake As far as tires go i'm running 26 inch tall tire, going to a taller tire may be in the cards but not much taller than 26.5 inches. @Tabres I don't run 1/4 mile in fact it has never been to a track and it probably never will go, but I will run it up on the freeway and hell most factory tuned cars will run past 135MPH. I have a V8 twin turbo BMW that my wife has taken the liberty to pass me up on the freeway coming home from a show. (How embarrassing getting done by the dork driving wife) LOL
  3. Hey fellas, i'm coming to you guys again for some transmission input. Last year I purchased a TR3550 transmission for my 94GT w/ a 347 and 150 shot nos. But currently I am still running the stock T-5, with well over 200k miles and it's and going on 22 years old and it has never been redone. My problem is I ran the stang up to about 135-138 MPH at about 6100-6200 RPM's in 4TH gear running FMS 373 gears. The T-5 5TH gear would have let the RPM's drop too low and looking at the TR3550 gear ratio for 4TH and 5TH gear it is the same as the T-5. What are my options for getting more top end speed out of the TR3550, are their more gearing options (aftermarket) out there for the TR3550 tranny or am I screwed and need to start shopping for and T-56 (which I don't want to do if I can get around it). As always, thanks for the input.
  4. Man I tossed the idea around for a while, I know people had did it but I had only seen them on the internet I had never saw it done in person so that I could put my eyes on it.
  5. I did the 17x10.5 cobra r's on 315/35/17 back in 1997 and then added the zenon kit in 1999.
  6. They're Work wheels, I had them made last year, I've had this girl for 20 years now so I have been down the traditional road so I decided to do something a little different. Its not gonna be to everybody's liken but hey if they all looked the same then we wouldn't love these sn95s so much...
  7. This is what happens when old people and technology mix... My bad guys
  8. Ok ... Call me a moron but I have been trying to post the pictures of the car ever since I got it back and no matter what I do they will not upload so any suggestions would gladly be appreciated
  9. Its not so much the cable thats too short as it is the sheathing that covers it. Making the connection at the end with the c-clip on the caliper. There appears to be plenty of cable to pull through the caliper
  10. Yeah I tried pulling the cable down from the cab but it wouldn't budge. IDK if there is something in the cab that I can loosen to give it more adjustment but I did the zip tie like you said. Nice as your car is, if that was good enough for you then its gonna be good for me.
  11. Thanks Bryan, i'll try that.
  12. Ok guys, i'm sure if I should post this topic here but here we go anyway. I purchased the Baer 13" rear brake kit that relocates and uses the stock GT calipers. But when I got all back in, the E-brake cable is too short to go through the cable bracket and still hook up on the caliper. I can't get the C-clip back on because its too much tension on the cable, but if I don't go through the bracket the cable rubs on the inside lip of the wheel. If anyone have suggestions please hook me up. Thanks guys
