  1. All good bud. We are always busy accomplishing nothing. lol. I seem to be at Josh's almost every day but the days are just too short.
  2. I think I've only read one thread of someone making them with that extra support. I've seen many people make them as we did so I think we'll be fine. A fellow I worked with claimed that's what they used when building hot rods. We used a LOT of screws lol. 4 2.5" per corner plus a single long 3"+ (Can't remember exactly). I'm hoping to seal them this weekend because they'll be getting used shortly. I have Stifflers jacking rails and web bracing on the way and we have subframe connectors to install on a convertible SN95 soon.
  3. So I know in not on here much anymore. Tapatalk won't work and Safari signs me out. Plus I was almost done with this post but my phone died at 8%. ? Anyway, the oven is finally done!... For the most part. We just need to add some extra hangers. We heated it to 400 and one of the interior sheet metal walls warped so it needed re-sealed. We also discovered we could use a vent so we rigged something. And and for some reason the other pictures keep failing to upload. Omg lol. We we haven't coated anything yet. My alternator case is first on the list. We always seem to be busy with other things and I always run out of time. At least some things are getting done. We assembled our drill press and bandsaw and we are almost done making wheel stands:
  4. I just want to let everyone know that I don't plan on preparing or participating in the SN95 cruise anymore. My friends have become priority and our schedule has changed so handling the cruise just isn't in the cards. If anyone is interested in taking on the task, have at it and I'd be happy to answer any questions.
  5. Haha. The need for more happens so quick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It's pretty much all together. We have a small sheet metal piece to finish putting on and one hinge. Then we need to put the deal on. We heated it up already. I deleted the pictures on my phone so I don't have a picture of the pretty glowing red elements. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Drilling holes in the heat exchanger bracket for mounting is all you need to do. My stock heat exchanger looks horrible so the upgrade was a no brainer for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Awake now. [emoji6] The good news is that you don't have to remove any supercharger parts to replace the plugs. You will need a swivel and extensions though. One or two are buggers. Be careful not to break the coils. They get bendy when you take them out. I believe I used the same plugs. You should definitely pick up a heat exchanger from lethal_sloleen on IG if he still has them. It's a great deal and everyone says the 21st Century Performance exchanger is better than the LFP. All I noticed is that you have to drill the mounting holes. I mostly got te exchanger for cosmetic reasons as well. I'm not really interested in looking for power from the 2v or the Saleen supercharger. I may get cams but it's probably 80% sound/20% performance IMO. Lol. I need a tune so I figure why not add cams. It seems like people just hit 400hp when doing all the bolt ons which isn't worth it to me. You could be like Anthony Driscoll and get a 2.6l Kb and hit 600+. 10. The battery terminals and distribution block I bought have 1/0 inputs and I'm looking to buy wire now. I always thought I should look up welding wire because a lot of the large gauge automotive specific wires I find are specified for sound systems. I also know it can get really expensive. So when I typed it into google I found a big range of prices and some that are quite confusing. https://wirencable.com/20ft-1-0-awg-welding-cable-class-m-ul-csa-2640-34-str-40c-to-90c-super-vu-tron-600v-orange/?gclid=CKW8keO1jsoCFdUSHwodngIEqQ Then the same company is selling it cheaper on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/NOCO-WL1025BK-Black-Welding-Cable/dp/B00858LFT4 Crutchfield said they could get me this kit with whatever lengths I needed but that would probably triple the price. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_122BIG3XS/XS-Power-BIG3XS.html I'd like to buy that cable from Amazon but how is it so cheap?!?

  13. I assume the idea is for engine bay cooling but yeah, it looks half-hineyed in my opinion.
