  1. No worries. Keep giving me idea's :-)
  2. Found the decals from 69clark. Thanks fellas.
  3. Your definitely going to need filler on the roof, and after pulling the dents. Suction probably won't be sufficient for the rear of quarter due to the creases or the rocker given its shape. I recommend stud welding for that. I do body work 50 hours a week.. so if you need pointers hit me up.
  4. I installed the cluster Monday evening. It was in fact plug and play. I will be switching out the odometer this weekend after realizing the cobra one is broken.. Anyone know where I can snag some svt stickers for it? Sure. Make an offer.
  5. Nice find for the price! How is the body on it? Any rust?
  6. Cool man I appreciate the pics and info. Ill swap it out on monday in that case.
  7. Hey fellas, just picked up a Cobra cluster from a 98 to swap into my 97 GT.. Google turns up a lot of assumptions.. Has anyone done this personally? Do I need to switch the boards? Can I keep my odometer from the GT? Ive never messed with the clusters on sn95s before, so.. As always, your insight is appreciated.
  8. okey dokey, I tried to pull the rack out some.. I didnt disconnect the tie on the side I wasnt working on (facepalm) lol. thanks
  9. So with the 97 I recently picked up, Ive been doing some repairs.. Ball joints and tie rod ends were shot, and my new wheels were rubbing on the control arms at full lock.. Soo I decided to snag some termi control arms to swap in. Upon trying to unbolt the control arms from the k member, I realized the front bolts wouldnt pull out more than 1/2 way without hitting the rack.. Do I seriously have to remove the rack?! or is there a work around? Thanks for insight.
  10. Hey Ill keep the pedals in mind, but the trans isnt on my priority list just yet. The t5 sounded like a good opportunity and the price was certainly right.. Since it wont work out, Ill likely do a shift kit to hold me over until I NEED to upgrade.
  11. Thanks guys. Apparently I was asking google the wrong questions lol. Yes it would seem the bolt pattern is different requiring a new bell housing, or adapter plate. would also apparently need to switch the yoke and cross member. Certainly not worth the time or money at this point. I imagine my car will require a stronger transmission before the year is up anyways. Btw- DetRiot you have one of the sexiest sn95's Ive seen. Digging the look in your sig. Seeing sn95's like yours rolling around is what forced me to jump off the fox ship
  12. So I have a 97 Mustang GT with AODE transmission. Today my brother calls me, and has a 95 Mustang v6 with a t5 that is getting scrapped tomorrow. After looking through countless semi-related google result pages.. Im still questioning if this will be a direct bolt in. Ive learned a ton about torque specs, and gear ratio's. But havnt found a clear answer to the compatibility. Before I drive 2 hours and spend a day stripping this donor car, on a whim that it will work.. Does anyone have experience or knowledge in this swap?
  13. Well I appreciate all of your input. Ill be cautious when sanding the nipples down, and post pics after.
