Venom351R
Usually I can figure this stuff out on my own but my brain keeps going in circles about this one. This is the set up I will be getting soon in the next few weeks and I want to have all the cables and everything ahead of time so I can get it fully set up when I have everything. Biggest question being is if I will need a HDMI splitter or not. This is the TV I want to gethttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung - 46" Class - LED - 1080p - 120Hz - Smart - 3D - HDTV/4835032.p?skuId=4835032&id=1218540191137This is the surround sound system I want to get with with the TVhttp://www.lg.com/us/home-theater-systems/lg-BH9220BW-home-theater-systemHere is my issue. The TV comes with 3 HDMI inputs. The Surround sound system has 2 and I assume there is one with the Blu Ray player as well unless they are counting one with the surround sound receiver and one with the blu ray player but I think its a total of 3 between both of them.I want everything connected via HDMI. I have my cable box and my PS3. So my issue is how do I set all this up so that I get surround sound through my TV and PS3 and Blu Ray player. Will I need an HDMI splitter and if so how should I use it with this set up?Also the other audio option I have as well is the optial toslink cable. Currently I use a toslink cable with my current surround sound for my PS3. Should I use this the same with with the new system?
