StockD15b
ive got a squak coming from the left front when turning slowly. Ive inspected, and well all the boots are ripped lol. But the main issue is after turning, the car wonlt straighten its self out. I have to manually correct. Im thinking lwr ball joint?
Slykin
That is definitely a symptom of the balljoints(we only have lowers, no uppers), though I would suspect that it would squeak all of the time, including when you go over bumps. Put a jack under one control arm, lift the tire off the ground(leaving the other tire on the ground) and try to shake it at 12/6. If it has play, it's your balljoint, checking 3/9 will tell you if it's your tie rods. I wouldn't doubt it if a combination needs replacing. StockD15b
yea, ive heard it from time to time over bumps. I really hear it when going parking lot speed, and turning into a parking spot. I'll deff try you recommendations in the AM.
Slykin
What kind of mileage does your car have on it? I've had to replace ball joints on both of my cars, but both of them have had 150k+. It's not horrible to replace them, but it's not real easy either. I actually have a How-To for ball joints somewhere on here.
