AustunXXI
I've been studying up on the 3.8, and all my ideas will be ::raspberries:: if I'm wrong... I've read the 3.8 is a 5.0 minus two cylinders. With that being said I'm going to be supercharging one but while building up the heads to be able to withstand high revs. I cant find any light weight cranks but as far as pistons and rods, and the entire valve train I think I've got it covered. Just buy the the things I'm wanting under the guise that they're for a 5.0, just buy 6 pieces instead of 8. All ^that^ crap being said, are the 3.8's really the 5.0's minus two cylinders?can't think of a whitty signature...
smallblocksn95
not at all the ford 3.8 is actually very similar to the original GM 3.8. Maybe corporate espionage lol. check this site out for more infohttp://www.enginebuildermag.com/2001/09/rebuilding-the-ford-3-8l-engine/
