Who all do we have in Va?

Recommended Posts

Ha. Nice. Yeah man. I thought you started the Pushrod forum and were still doing that?

I was never good at HTML and website design, so it kinda went to crap. I couldn't figure out how to keep the spammers out and gave up. Still own the name and the site, just don't have anything on it. lol

Oh ok. Should have just bought into VBulletin. It takes care of everything and has plug ins for spam blockers :)

So what have you been up to since we talked last? Hope no grudges were kept if there were any. I know I have none.

I don't even remember the last time I saw you specifically... Should I hold a grudge? lol... I'm laid back back, I get over shit like it beer happened so if something did happen I dot even remember... Last I remember was the photo shoot across from the old fudruckers and you talking about selling your blue car. Since the last time I saw you, I sold the black car, went through a '79 F150, '92 LX and most recently the '99 Escort ZX2. The wife and I have had 2 more little boys and I bought a house in Norfolk in the Norview HS area... Hoping with the new '98, I can get back into the car scene and Hang out again.

Yeah. I think we were at your place messing with our cars. Haha. Other than that I got nothing.

I've been through a bunch of cars. Bought an '01 True Blue Bullitt, gave the '96 to my older brother (who eventually sold it to my younger brother who still has it), bought a '00 F150 5.4 4x4 (which is my daily), sold the Bullitt, bought a built STi, sold that and went through a few Hondas for MPG which didn't last, then bought the '95 Cobra and have had that for about a year.

Bought a house a few months ago and also got married November 24th 2012. Still in chesapeake about 10 minutes from my parents house.

I work out at NOB as a civilian contractor working in IT

That's about all ha.

Good stuff! We'll have to get together once I get this '98. Was hoping he'd call today to come get it, but so far, nothing... If the things wasn't all the way out near hilltop, I'd drive by like a stalker and see if its in his garage being worked on. Lol

Thanks man. Congrats on everything with you too.

Keep us posted on the car! We will definitely have to get together. Cobra still needs some work but hopefully it'll be all buttoned up after taxes.

Congrats to you to on the wife ad the new cobra! Just got a call from the seller. Apparently the '98 had 2 different connectors for the pump and he didn't know which was which and ordered the wrong one. Showed up wed, he realized and then ordered the other one. It's there now, but he's in NC finishing up with his dads estate. Said he will hopefully have it finished Monday evening or Tuesday.

Thanks man. Appreciate it.

Sorry to hear you're not getting it today. Did he mention he was repairing anything in the car before sale? If not then I'd talk to him about that. Seems a little odd.

No, the fuel pump was an intermittent problem, so he said he wanted to fix it before he sold it. We talked, and he had/has until the 11th to fix it, but said he was trying to get it done this weekend till he found out he ordered the wrong pump. No issues. Guy is cool and seems honest, I've waited almost 3 years, what's 3 more days...

Yeah that's the place, they are not all that bad, other than the act all they do on the ship is PT, Shine their boots and stand in the chow lines. Glad I never did a gator. So remember that copmagnet, when you deploy on a ship find something to do besides PT, shine your boots, and stand in the ships store line and chow line. LOL

Hertford is 62 miles from Norfolk and cost $20 to run Friday Night test and tune. Dinwiddy, AKA Virginia MotorSports Park is 91 miles from Norfolk and cost about $40 to run test and tune. Also to get to Dinwiddy you have to get through one of our many tunnels on a Friday Afternoon, which ads another 30 minutes to an hour to the trip. So it is definetley cheaper and easier for us to run Hertford and the 1/8th
