copmagnet Posted April 20, 2014 Report Share Posted April 20, 2014 I need to know if a 4r70w from a 95/96 lincoln mk8 is the same as the one in the 96 mustang gt? mine is bad in my gt and needs to be replaced. copmagnet Posted April 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 for future records of other people who google this question, it will not work due to the valve bodies and a few other things being different. only a 96-97 auto will work, or a 99-04 if you pull it apart and change the sensors on it.
