Venom351R
Took a total of 4 hrs to clean the interior, wash, clay bar, wax. It was not that dirty it was just a lot to do. The pics are not that great they are from my phone bc my digital camera no longer works but hopefully I'll have a nice DSLR sometime so I can get some nice pics. Did everything except under the hood. Its 100% stock except for the tint.....for now.

Venom351R
No they dont Tony. Right now just a stage 1 Cobb tune with a Cobb Catback and SPT Intake. If I can get away with it Id really like to do a stage 2 Tune and the down pipe. That will get me to 300 HP to the wheels and about 19-20 PSI of boost.haha after 4 hrs of doing that I'll pass rob. AZSN95SNAKE
Those seats are definitely not comfy. I love that color and hawk eye body style is the best. Nice car man. Venom351R
I think the seats are really comfy lol, wouldnt bother replacing them. It ran a 13.8 @ 102 stock with a crappy 60' b/c launching AWD is not as easy as it seems
Tony
CCW's look amazing but damn they are soooooo expensive.yea they are, lol. i'm actually fighting with my wife all the time about CCW's and their fn prices. she thinks they are retarded and over priced and i am starting to agree with her, lol. but they make some sick ass wheels. Venom351R
There is always an over priced something regardless of what your buying, watch's, cloths, houses. Someone always has to be at the top. Gramlight 57Ds look awesome as well but are about $2,000 a set, and just another reason why I need a nice camera. Tony
haha, im with ya on the camera, and overpriced houses. she dont mind paying too much for our house and furniture but when it comes to me and my car shit...well every penny better be accounted for, lol. that's a whole other thread....sorry.$2,000 a set really isnt that bad. and those look just as good as ccw's imo. easy car to throw wheels on. alot of options look good. Venom351R
I'm working on trying to get a DSLR, all the money I dumped into the cobra the past few months really put me behind as far as expendable cash for shit that I dont need but want.I really like the Rota Grids, I was going to go with the Rota Torques at first but I like the fat spoke look on these cars more so then the thin spokes. As for color I really did not want black once I thought about it b/c it blends in to much w/ the tires so I figured Bronze would be a nice look. 18X8.5 with 255's all the way around. http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5745

Venom351R
Thanks I was lucky to get it, right place at the right time w/ the right things happening leading up to it. I really dislike the 08 models but the newer styled ones that are out now I do like a lot, I saw a new white STI yesterday and it is very sharp looking. MMR
See now thats another thing I like about this forum, people can post other NICE cars than mustangs (or specifilally SN95s) and not get shit for it. Its always a pleasure to see someone care about what they drive and take pride in it and share what he does to it with others, instead of being afraid of not getting social acceptance in some tea club on the internet. I don't personally care if they are mustangs, corvettes, STIs etc. they are all nice cars IMO.

Venom351R
Great point MMR, I agree. I dont ask for others to like my Subaru, if they do they do and if they dont they dont. I'm just glad to have a nice sporty car that is reliable and can be made very fast and also handles like its on rails, its like the whole package rolled into one. Usually you sacrifice performance for handling or vise versa but with the STI there is no need to at all.Tony the car is Silver but its called "Steel" from Subaru. Its kind of an off silver color. Just need to decide on what tires to go with now b/c when I get these wheels they will be my summer set and I'll keep the current BBS wheels for my winter set w/ the winter tires on them. Leaving very hard to the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs.

Tony
ahh, i love dunlop tires! had those on an srt4 and dam they looked killer and lasted waaaaaay longer than the khumo ecsta tires. great tires, them and nitto.
Venom351R
sad part is those tires cost more then the wheels/lugs I want lol. But for only being used for 5 months out of the year they should last awhile as long as I dont hit the AutoX to hard next year. Hopefully will get in one in Oct this year. Would like to wear down what tread I have left on my BF Goodrich GSports just b/c if I'm buying new tires Id hate to have the ones I have on there now not be used up.Thanks Brian

Venom351R
wish it was as easy as doing a big smokey burn out such as with RWD but nothing some aggressive driving and autoX event driving cant take care of either. Figure I'll get the wheels/tires w/ my income tax money and upgrade my brake pads when I go to install the wheels.
Tony
well that gives ya 5-6 months to destroy the tread on those BFG's. never really thought about it being awd, cant just sit and roast your rear tires, lol. we just bought a '12 buick lacrosse and i hate it, lol. 100% family grocery gettin soccer mom car. i would love to get a wrx waggon for a family car. something i can at least tinker with. cant do much with a buick, lol. Venom351R
actually I have this month and october b/c these tires come off when winter hits and the winter set goes on. These tires are useless in the snow.
Tony
i lived in maine, when you say snow, you mean SNOW, lol. we lived by a lake and the entire lake froze up every winter. gets fn cold up there, lol. snoww in maine is awesome. compared to snow in columbus. here it turns to muddy slush in about 20-30 mins. Venom351R
Used to really hate winter but now that Ive shelved the Cobra for awhile and this thing is so fun to drive in the snow it does not bother me as much now. I'll get my gopro and get some good empty parking lot snow drift video's this winter. My school has a nice big parking lot w/ no poles anywhere so if it snows on a weekend that I have off I'll get over there and have some fun. SVT Rob
It ran a 13.8 @ 102 stock with a crappy 60' b/c launching AWD is not as easy as it seemsYea, launching an AWD definitely takes some practice. I used to launch my Talon by holding the revs at 4500rpm, slip the clutch out on the last yellow, when you see the boost gauge read 0, dump the clutch and hang on. It would net 1.8 60's spinning all 4 tires, and ran a best of 12.9 @ 111, shifting it at 8200rpm. Very fun car, it got 29mpg on the highway, with the AC on, too.I vote Volk TE-37's in bronze. It's what I had on my DSM.I got two races out of it, the night that I scraped all the factory Turbo, AWD, TSi, and 16v DOHC stickers off the car, clay barred, and detailed it. After that, no one would race me anymore Ended up cracking one of the Volks, so I gave $50 for these as replacements, they worked decently. Venom351R
The Volks look really nice but the Rota Grids are very similar and cheaper. I dont want to go all out on wheels since the tires are going to cost a ton and while I had a short list of things I wanted to do its slowly expanding, mostly interior appearance type stuff but its going to look great when its done. Id like to get up to a stage 2 tune but that remains to be seen depending on what the dealership says, or I could say screw it and just modd it anyway and rely on the Subaru reliability hoping nothing ever goes wrong
Tony
as irresponsible as that may be i would totally say screw the warranty and go fn nuts! thats me though. i take alot of risks and sometimes it works out and then well, sometimes it does not at all, lol.
