Basically the g/f lives in the middle of bumble fawk and has zero cell service in her neighborhood. They exist to boost signal in buildings that are in a good signal area but have terrible service inside. Ever been in a big building like a hospital and still get service way inside? That is because they installed repeaters/boosters in the building. You CAN do the internets box like was suggested, maybe look at a different provider or just get... gasp... a land line...
