2001 True Blue Bullitt

Recommended Posts

Figured I'd throw up some pictures of my old 2001 True Blue Bullitt (a car most of you know me from, there's also some of my old '96 GT in there with others will know me from). My father now owns this car but I will be buying it back from him later in life.

I like the 99/01 Cobra bumpers on them but so many people are doing it. Mines staying original. When I buy it back I won't be modding it much at all. The car is as mint as you can get and no point in messing that up. My dad keeps it covered up in the garage and only drives it every so often on really nice days. It's mostly for entering into shows.

everybody is doing it but yet how many bullitts do you see around? lol, just saying, because every body with a roush stage 2 I've seen upgrades to the stage 3 front, but yet at every car show and on the street I'm still the only one driving around in a Roush ;)

There's 3 TB Bullitts here that I know of. There's a handful of DHGs also. A few black. Which isn't common for one area. But being we have the largest Naval installation in the world it makes sense.

I know what you mean but like I said this car is insanely mint so I don't see the need to change anything. IF I ever did anything it would probably be rear end and some suspension but nothing crazy.

If I had a Roush and it wasn't stage 3 id make it though. Only because I hate the way the stage 2 looks.

lol I think the same can be said for the stock GT bumper, it sits to high imo

Looks and sounds great, i love me a blue one :)

What happend to the old SN95?

The '96 GT was given to my older brother who later sold it to my younger brother. I have tons of pictures of that as well on my photobucket account.

When it comes to certain models I'm a purist. The bullitt is one of my favorite editions to look at. It should have bullitt wheels. The Mach 1 should have Mach 1 wheels. I bought a modded terminator because I didn't have the heart to change an anniversary cobra myself. Would cost too much to ever get it back to original so I can do whatever to it now and not feel guilty.
