lights were sealed with rubber butyl tape (which is what oem sealant is) and then i went back over the seams with clear silicone for added measure to ensure no condensation. silicone is white in pictures but dries clear.

Made these for my father's 2005 convertible courtesy of my headlight retrofit company, going for that retro look without the cheesy look of the other versions out there.

I love how the color brings the gill accents to life...

Might want to talk to the staff before you start advertising your products.... I know I haven't heard from you.

Otherwise I love retrofitting. Building mine was one of the best thing I've done for my car.

PM'd both you and Steve as soon as I posted pics!

Any pictures of 94-98 cars with heavy tinted lights or with black housings? I really like these, but I'd like them to be less noticeable if possible. Nice work anyways.

There is a black housing set in the thread, no pics on car yet. I only get them if others are nice enough to send me some once they put the lights on.

I will get some options up tonight when i get back to my laptop, the reason i do not post many numbers is that each set is custom made to order and can vary.

Expensive but cheaper than majority by far... Well worth what i ask for such a quality product. New mustang hid lights are $800 a pop and my sets don't cost that much.

Sooo pricing, like I mentioned earlier its hard to throw general #s out because each set is custom and prices vary but if you want the basic kits here is a reference point

Base kit: Includes new headlights of your choice, mh1 projectors, shrouds of your choice, paint color of your choice, bulbs the color of your choice, ballasts, ballasts, wiring harness, hardware, sealants, labor etc... $675

FX-R uograde: Includes everything above except the projector is upgraded to the FX-R. $750

If you wish to send me your own lights subtract $100 from the price above

Other makes and models vary, discounts for make and model I have not experimented with yet.

Price does not include shipping, any local guys receive free help on the install.

For additional costs the following can be added: OEM paint match, side emitting leds, led halos, ccfl halos, led demon eyes, painted demon eyes, smoked corner reflectors, hydrographics, and anything else you can think of...

Next up...

Brian.... it would basically be doing the same thing we did with your headlights. Except using the Morimoto matchbox projectors instead of the H1. fairly simple to do and now small enough to fit in the fogs. The matchbox projectors were discontinued for a while and recently came back. its a good option if your housings have the depth to mount them.

thats been the main reason i havent done mine yet. I want something to fit inside the housing without having to hack the back of it up in order for it to fit. but, the more i think about it, i think doing the fogs will be a little much. Im still on the fence about how retros look in the sn95 headlights but the amount of light i get makes it worth it. but the fogs, imo, are better left alone.

My reasoning for that is this.... its better to leave the fogs as halogens because putting HIDs in them will put too much light directly in front of the car. By doing so, it causes the eye to focus on the very front of the car instead of a few car lengths in front of it like you should. That causes eye strain and diminishes the eyes ability to focus ahead. its a safety issue for the driver because any obstacles such as deer, animals etc. are less likely to be seen in time.

Ive done numerous retrofits over the years and ive always deterred people from putting HIDs into fogs for that reason. It also creates a huge amount of glare for oncoming drivers. However, putting an HID based projector in the fogs will reduce the amount of glare drastically, it still distributes the light low to the ground and concentrates it directly in front of the car which, as i said above, distracts the eye to focusing on that instead of out in front of the car where you need to concentrate the most.

Im not saying it wont look good or function well, but theres a science to this. lol.

Sorry to threadjack...... just wanted to input my .02. BTW, keep up the good work!

What do you mean? My issue was everything I saw the housings weren't deep enough to mount the projector in the fog. That the issue you're having?

Yes you cannot mount it as a bolt in application, small speed bump but nothing I cant handle
