Forcefedhatch
I'll be doing a full DIY on how to remove, and fab new smooth inner fender wells..The reason is because mine were hacked up for all the turbo kits I built on this thing.. So first removal..Cut smooth the top, and drill as many spot welds out as possible,( tin snips help alot!)Here it all is removedThe top of mine is boogered up from a nice 80mm turbo, but I'll be fabbing a top piece for that as well.. Here's the concept, just a straight smooth panel..( and yes I know you can buy the Scott rid fab stuff, but I'm too cheap, and if I have access why the hell not!!..This pic is from one of scot rod fabs kits, but I'm not adding the smooth bottom, so it's still a one off in my eyes lol..I'll be updating more with template stuff etc..Sent from my iPhone
ttocs
Ah the thought that when I buy my welder Monday that I will be able too do this stuff makes me wish I bought it today.

Forcefedhatch
Ok got a lil work in, made the templates, and wifey decided she liked the smooth bottom better, I'm still deciding, but I added it anyway just to appease her lol.. And way, use thin cardboard to make your templates, and some masking tape, you'll be cutting, trimming, fitting etc. for a good while.. Just get comfy get a beer, and jam done tunes.. Here's where we are so far..Easy part first, bottom..Then start on the side and bottom integration.I'm using pens for support on the flimsy cardboard, also good word of advice, once you get the template near perfect, outline it with the masking tape and fold the edges, this way you have a smooth edge to transfer the template to sheet metal..Cut the bottom panel and test fit, now I'm outta steel, so I'll go get some soon and finish up.. These are made of very thin sheet metal from the factory, so I'm going to opt for something a Lil thicker, just because I don't have any strengthening grooves to compensate.. So the bottom is thin, but the side will be a tad heavier gauge.. More to come soon!Sent from my iPhone

95opal
looks good forcefed just a little tip raise the bottom of the framefrail cover so its flush with the lip. Otherwise your going to have a dirt collecting pond on the rail with that pocket. use one piece and bend the bottom 90* instead of 2 pieces
Forcefedhatch
Thanks for the tip!, yeah I'm trying to get access to a brake, but my buddy is out of town for a few weeks... If I do t get access soon I may spot weld from the back side so the welds won't be noticeable as well.. .. I am basically just swing what tools I have available at the time, or I could go old school and hammer tap the bend and use filler to shape it as I see fit..Sent from my iPhone

ttocs
we have given up looking for the source of the problem as at this point when I go too a GI specialist they just ask me what tests I think we should repeat, again... I would say I take it day-by-day but its more like hour-by-hour. Things could be worse and always can get worse so I try to enjoy what I have today.
