Blackmage
Because who doesn't love a broken screen on their phones btw, if anyone ever brings their phones in for service, PLEASE CHARGE THE FRICKING BATTERY!!!! haha I have freaked out several times trying to turn on someones phone after a screen replacement only to find nothing works... panic ensues. Then i plug it into the wall and it fires up. Crisis averted!
Blackmage
my collection at work. i think i have about 30-40 more at home. Eventually ill start breaking them down and selling them for parts. Most of the LCD's are still good on the screens, just the glass is cracked. ttocs
I wasn't sure if I was happy or sad that when I got my droid turbo they said that it included one replacement screen if it was ever needed. I mean glad to know its there I if I need it but if its that much of an issue it would seem that there could be a better way. Love the phone though. Honestly i think a lot of phones have that now. but i agree, they should be making the glass fronts stronger, not offering up free fixes for your first drop although broken glass keeps the side job busy for me

GearGambler
I know it depends on the phone, but how much do you get to replace a busted screen (excluding parts)?

Blackmage
I know it depends on the phone, but how much do you get to replace a busted screen (excluding parts)?im normally making anywhere between $20-$60 per phone. depends on the complexity of the phone and how long it takes. Also depends on how I am replacing the screen. Sometimes you can do a glass only replacement(takes way longer on phones) but most phones I buy the full LCD/Digitizer/Glass assembly which is super fast >15min to fix. most tablets are a glass only repair as they do not glue the LCD to them like phones, but there is a lot more to disassemble to get to the connector than some phones. If you go to a repair shop or mall, they will charge you 100+ to repair most phones, where im around the $50-60 mark for most.

Blackmage
Charge for an iPhone 6? Turn around time?I do. When it's dropped off, 15 minutes. Now I see what I have to look forward to when I replace the screens and backs on an iPhone 4 and 4s. It's going to suck royally. How do you keep track of all those little pieces?Sent from my HTC6525LVWThe back of iphone 4 and 4S' are the simplest to replace. there are two screws on the bottom, and the back slides up and off. slide the new one back on, put two screws in. done. I try to keep them laid out next to the component it was holding in. Believe it or not, i can tell most of the iphone screws apart these days if they do get mixed up.
