ttocs
my only complaint is that I bet they are grey in 3 days and hard to clean the dust out of after short of pulling it off and re-spraying it. Otherwise it looks cool.

OnyxCobra
lol when I saw the white wheels I thought they were the before pictures and that you had done them in black plastidip, and then i got to the end and it was just pics of white wheels lol. It doesn't look bad though.

Kyle5.0
Thanks everyone! I really like it and I think it makes it stand out a little more than just regular cobra r's.my only complaint is that I bet they are grey in 3 days and hard to clean the dust out of after short of pulling it off and re-spraying it. Otherwise it looks cool.It definitely will not be easy to clean and Im not expecting it to last too long. I just put a couple quick coats on each wheel to see how it looks. I just drove an hour and a half to school and they are already dirtyLooks Great, I love your car man. Thanks Josh, the cleanliness of your car is my inspiration That is freakin gorgeous. Thanks! Im working on getting the stance similar to yoursI actually really like your wheels white. And i'm glad you took off the chin spoiler, it looks much without it.Thanks, I had it on there for a while and wasnt really feeling it eitherSame here. But dude your paint looks amazing. Whats done to the paint? The white looks awesome on there.. Im Jealous :redface-new:Update your sig picture because the current look > the old wingless lookPictures do the paint more justice than it deserves, its going to need a repaint in the near futureIm jealous of your white interior tooI'm diggin' the white on black. I don't think I've ever seen that combo be fore.Thank you! Yeah after a long time searching I couldnt find any pictures of it done, so I went ahead and did it. LilRoush
The contrast of the white wheels almost makes the car look 'blacker'...if that's even possible.
ttocs
I had white wheels on my old sport bike. I would take my time cleaning them, roll it forward to get the spots I could not reach. By the time I got to the first stop light they were alread turning grey......
Det_Riot
If you really like the look. Which i think you should because they look badass, get those bastards powdercoated! white looks real real good on it!
MMR
How well does this plastidipp last?Looks good dude! :thumb:
ttocs
well in this case I think he will have to peel it off before its ready to fall off just because I would be afraid it will collect the brake dust. Otherwise its just a temp coating spray you can pull off later. Do a youtube search and they make a kit to do your whole car and show it.
Twista
How well does this plastidipp last?Looks good dude! :thumb:It last for awhile, but it tends to get dirty and fade so its not as easy to clean as a normal chrome/polished finished wheel. WildWillyWalker
Hard to peel off? Sure your talking about the same stuff?Yes. My buddy had sprayed his entire roof and it was really annoying trying to pull it all off.
justinschmidt1
Just a tip, spray wd40 on plastidip and let it sit and the stuff will rub right off.If you spray it thick it should peel off really easy anyway.Looks good but I agree with scott, will probably turn black and shitty really fast. lol
ttocs
Looks good but I agree with scott, will probably turn black and shitty really fast. lolSeriously man what is up?!
justinschmidt1
lol nothing, you just brought up a good point, I plasti dipped a set of my wheels black and even they got crusty from break dust and stuff.I can only imagine how bad white will tarnish over a month or two. ttocs
be sure to swap out your brake pads for low-dust ones or like I said by the time you get to the first light they will be turning grey already. Even with them I hope you like cleaning your wheels.

ttocs
You could try to put a clear over the dip to see if you could seal up all the holes that are collecting dust.
