330CubeGt
Its very time consuming to make a COP Conversion harness and it can be done fairly cheap if you have the right tools, wire and connectors...Most of you find its just easier to pick up a harness already completed for $100-140 +/- and slap it on and go with no worries and i don't blame you. But for the guys that like the little time consuming side projects for there mustang here is a diagram that shows you everything you need to know to make one of these COP Conversion harness yourself.I Made my own on my 5.4 Car using this diagram as well as others i know that have used it so i know it works! kucklehead
Cop conversion? What is this. Never heard of it. Is it 4.6 or 5.0Sent from a Bionic powerhouse
Venomous96
Cop conversion? What is this. Never heard of it. Is it 4.6 or 5.0Sent from a Bionic powerhouseits for the 4.6 that have the coil packs and spark plug wires. Its a plug and play conversion that allows you to switch to coil on plugs COP and do away with the coil packs and wires. Cleans up the engine bay a lot. But it was on the pricier side because you have to switch valve covers as well.
SniveTroll
4.6 SOHC does not have to change anything. just COP.

01yellercobra
FWIW the valve cover itself is the same on the 4V's. The difference there is the PCV placement on the driver side. The coil covers are different between the COP and non-COP set ups.
