Very nice!!! AFter seeing that, I think you can make 6 aftermarket gauges fit in there. I'm going to have to pull an extra cluster from the boneyard, and try it out with the gauges from my Capri. I think that would look sexy in the Cobra.

Ah, I see, they move the large gauges to the outside, and put the smaller gauges in the center. No, I want to put 6 gauges in, and try and retain a "factory" look, with them all in their factory locations. I'm thinking that you can clearance the sides a little bit, and the autometer bezels can be pushed out a little, to make clearance. The only thing I'm leery about, is retaining the factory warning lights. And a high beam indicator, I don't remember where that is on the cluster.

I'll see if I can pick up a cluster from the pick & pull this weekend, and I'll tear it apart, see what I can come up with. I have (2) 3 3/8 gauges and (4) 2 1/16 gauges, so I can either make it work, or break it really good trying! :D

High beam indicator is between the turn signals, isn't it? Should be much easier to retain all of that, then. In my Capri, the high beam indicator was in the tach/speedo (I don't remember which one), so I had to make a new one off to the side.

This is going to turn out awesome, keep up the good work man :)

I have been thinking about doing the aftermarket gauge mod for a while, never really got myself pulled together to do it.

looks good but most importantly I'll have a working oil pressure gauge instead of the useless idiot light.

I can't believe people complained about a working gauge, so Ford replaced it with an idiot light that LOOKS like a gauge, just to make the masses happy.
