How far the car has come thus far!

Many of you dont know me but I'm usually the guy who does stupid turbo setups just to do it lol.. well this car is different, and it's literally CAI(JLT), and full exhaust(BBK X-pipe, borla stinger catback)

My mother passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2015 and me and the family decided to do a sort of tribute car..

Basics

2000 GT

CAI

Exhaust

3m gloss plum explosion wrap(first time ever wrapping a car, sucks but not too bad!)

New shocks and struts

H&R supersports(with iso's)

Gloss black saleen SC 17x10,17x9 wheels

Few other things, still gotta install the new drivers seat vin and interior code matched leather, and tint the windows(not a huge priority to me as of yet)

The photos from Dayton cars and coffee the car was still on stock springs, so I'll have updated ones of it lowered, have a few of it in my driveway with the springs installed.

Anyway, here it is so far!

And NO I'm not building a turbo kit for this one!! This is to be a turn key weekend cruiser!!

Sorry, the photos arent in any given order lol ..

I like the tribute theme. We lost my mother in law this past thanksgiving to cancer and I lost my father when I was young to cancer also. It’s a horrible way to watch someone go.

#fuckcancer!!!

That’s pretty cool!! I like the color! Excellent tribute...

Now, explain to me why I don’t want to wrap my car myself?
Oh you can, and I did for sure. It's just very tedious and ya gotta have patience for sure!! I say go for it, but if so use quality vinyl! I tried vivvid, 3m avery, cheap Ebay stuff.. the 3m has by far been the best on all platforms!

For 100% novice, use 3m first. It's the MOST forgiving to heat back and pull off. Avery is second best, then oracal. The ONLY KPMF I use is their perfect black for Roofs since it's the "cleanest" (Read, least orange Peel) black out on the market in vinyl.
