Ok Ladies:

The long awaited paint job is finally nearing. Managed to do quite a bit of stuff to it today.

Moved my spoiler back forward a little bit, because it hit my quarter panel on the top. I'm not having a wing ruin my new paint!

Changed the front passenger fender out. Mine had reverse dents. It somehow imploded! O well haha.

Changed out my front sail panel because mine was chewed up where someone broke into the car. Changing these is a bear!

Swapped the rear sails for SN-95 ones. I had never seen it done before, and didn't want to shell out for machs. Got them for $20. They actually hug a little tighter on the rear glass, like they fit better in a way, ha!

Changed my front bumper out, and put the mach delete piece on it.

Do you guys think I should mold the mach delete piece in and paint over it like the 99/01 cobras? or should I leave it the black plastic??

Changed the rear bumper, it's a stock GT bumper that just doesn't say Mustang on it.

Sanded down and refinished the rear bumper reflectors. When my bumper was last painted, they got painted over. Now they look better than new :)

Took the exhaust tips off, since they don't line up with the bumper since my exhaust is from an sn-95. I'll get that fixed early next year, need to get it ready for paint quick!

Pulled the back seat to protect it.

My side scoops are at work. If you guys remember, I am filling the side scoops in to look similar to bullitt's. However, I have the GT side scoops, so it will be like large deletes. Never seen it done before, I think it'll look cool. Hopefully!!

So right now my car is:

1. Satin Black: Front bumper

2. Semi gloss black: Rear Bumper

3. Bullitt Green: Hood Scoop

4. Electric Green: Front sail panel

5. Silver: Front Passenger fender

6. Some original laser red: in peeling areas

7. Ghetto red color: everywhere else.

8. Gloss black: Wing.

9. White: Rear sails.

Ah well, here's a couple pics. I'll have more.

I love you guys! Answer the question I put in big letters up there haha!

I'll get more pics, I should have the side scoops here next week. I gave them to my buddy at work who is much more talented at body work than I am, so he is filling them. It's finals week this week so I'll be in a cave so to speak. Then next week is my final week of preparation before I leave for Germany and drop the car off!!

Frank, I'm talking about the mach 1 grille delete panel. it goes on the front bumper. 99/01 cobras have a ridged bumper, and it's all painted.

the mach deletes are plastic, that you have to armor all all the time. I'm leaning towards glueing it down with some epoxy and painting right over it.

I'm pretty sure I'm the first to do it. I was going to make you guys wait till it was painted till I said anything, but I was overwhelmed by excitement :)

Answer the front bumper question! haha

Thanks for the support boys :)

Answer the front bumper question! haha

I would either mold it onto the bumper like you are suggesting, or just color match it and have it still install onto the bumper the same way it does now. Either way, I would color match the delete.

Same deal on the trunk.

Blank back bumper. I had to dump right now because my tips don't line up since they're from an sn-95. O well :D

Sn-95 Sail panel :D Also managed to keep the wing all the way back. Shaved the sides down, centered it up, and added stops to block it from going down and smacking the quarters.

Will be painting the delete so I don't ever have to armor-all the stupid thing again. It drinks any kind of black restoration product. Tired of it haha. Plus, 99/01 cobras have it deleted. Looks nice on dem :)

Every week I say "hopefully this weekend"

I'm not saying that anymore. I just want the damn thing back lol. But hopefully this coming weekend, if he gets a chance to shoot it.

So it's been a while since I posted in here, because I didn't want you guys to see it without having good pictures. I think the caliber of quality on this site is very high, and wanted to keep it that way.

Anywho:

Here's a link to my pictures thread thanks to AtlanticBlue98

Congrats on the completion man, I'm sure there's even more work involved that we don't see from pics. Probably the best sounding sixer I've ever heard in the video he posted too :thumb:

Any plans for moar low? Don't get me wrong, it looks great as-is, but maybe 3/4"-1" lower would be perfection.
