Brian Posted September 15, 2013 Report Share Posted September 15, 2013 Yesterday my family attended a charity car show at Knuckleheads Bar & Grill in Virginia Beach, VA for a local fallen Marine, LCpl. Cody Childers. He was killed overseas 3 years ago at the age of 19. I personally had never met him but know a lot of people who did. His family puts on car shows in his honor and also to raise money to send care packages to those who are still overseas. But soldiers are Army. Marines don't like being called soldiers haha. I'm not sure how often they have them but we are going to start going to all of them. We went to one before but it was really small and didn't have judges or anything. Just showed up at a local chick fila and the food purchases went to the foundation. Although I didn't personally know him (Different Platoon) I sure do remember him as one of the first KIA when we got there. Sorry for the loss of a brother. It's a shame that he was killed at such a young age but he died with honor fighting for our freedom. We had a great time at the show and hope to attend more for him. Car looked pretty good as I passed by it. Definitely thought of you though.that's the same problem I'm having. I need reinforcement on the outside edges.
