What did they do?pyscho is close... but he's psycho, so we'll let it slide.. lol they actually extend the arms of the ride height sensors. basically changing the geometry and allowing the ride height to be lower at level 1, and higher at level 4. there are 4 adjustable levels of ride height available from the factory.Lowering brackets. Keeps the air ride at a lower height.Love it @Blackmage!thanks man!

Side note, what'd you use to clean the insides of the wheels? It's called "Hot Stuff". industrial strength stuff our detail department uses. then i just used soapy water to get the rest of the stuff out. ill try to get a pic of the huge jugs we get.Sweet Audi, bet thats fun in the winter!thanks man, and yes it is! with a twin turbo v6, same as whats in the S4's, it gets up and scoots too!Hmm, mentally bookmarked for potential future DD candidacy...The factory adjustable air ride is pretty badass!its great as a DD. would not trade it for anything! although the air suspension is a known trouble spot for these cars, as the air bags are always having issues (leaking) and the compressors wear out to quickly. but still love the thing! 95riosnake
Ugh, the dreaded torn CV joint boot. I had torn boots on both the driver and passenger side on my scion, and there's no way to replace just the boots so I had to get new axles. First set I bought from NAPA were pieces of shit because they didn't have these little vibration collars on them to keep them balanced...the car shook like crazy from about 17-30 mph. So I bought a pair of salvaged factory axles from ebay from a 40k mile car hit in the rear and put them in. 5k miles later the driver's side axle's outer joint was worn out and made the super loud clicking sound whenever you were accelerating and turning, so out came that axle. At this point I still had the napa axles, and thought maybe only the passenger side axle was to blame for the shaking before, since it is twice as long (driver's side is only about 10-12" long) so I rolled the dice and put the Napa one back in the driver side. BIG MISTAKE. Car shook again, although not as bad as the first time. I was so fed up with it that I just said fuck it and drove it that way for about 6 months. So about a month ago I finally put another salvaged axle off eBay in the driver side from a 20k mile car...crossing my fingers... Plus side, I have it down to the point I can change an axle out in this car in about an hour lol. Some may say, "why not buy new axles from Toyota?" that would be a great option if they didn't want $650 a piece for them... lol. *rant over*
Blackmage
ugh cv boots are the worst. I can replace boots on mine at least. this is an autozone axle, and the boot actually just slipped off because of terrible frcking clamps. im going to send my stock axle into a company that rebuilds them, and eventually throw it back in if it goes bad. Cheaper than the expensive ass stock shit from audi, or toyota with yours!

Just knock the brightness off them is all they need.thanks, that was the intention. ive been pulled over too many times for tinted tails on the mustang, so I just wanted to know the edge off of how much red there was and NOT black them out. i think it did the trick. Blackmage
well guys super stoked! just purchased a 6 speed manual swap for the allroad! The auto trans was starting to take a dump, wouldnt want to shift from R to D, or D to R sometimes, and slipped going into 4th and 5th, so I thought i better get something ready for when it does finally shit the bed. an auto trans to get rebuilt or buy a rebuilt is around $1500, and this kit cost me $2200, so I figured why not. its used, but the trans has been gone through a little bit and they have a good reputation of never really going bad. heres hoping i dont get a lemon! 410sn95
NICE! Time for ko4's? The 01e 6 speed is stout. However, the 1-2 shift collar can give you trouble, mine did... Hopefully they upgraded when "going through" it. All wheel launch's on a Ko4'd stage 3 b5s4 with a JHM stage 3 clutch. Still going strong.
