97_281GT
BOOM I wish lol just picked up this project today lightning swapped new edge. P.o. hit the oil pan lost oil and spun a bearing right in front of his house. Traded my high mileage v6 f150 for it. Got the car home checked out the cranked it's barley scuffed so gonna clean that up and put some new bearings check All the other bearings in it make sure there not tore up then put it back together. P.o. also never had a heat exchanger on the car so gonna be hunting those parts down soon Heres how she sits now Car has some lowering springs cc plates rear control arms and 4.10 gears (have too see if that's true) and staggered bullets Got the car cleaned up and washed all the dust off And here's the little scratches on the crank Post more updates soon already got some stuff for it lol but hoping to have the motor done and back together soon as long as there's no issues

95riosnake
Badass! I love how Mad Max the L-swap looks. I always thought it would be badass to try to work the mass air into a compact elbow and try to fab up something that looks reminiscent of an old school bug catcher with butterflies lol.

97_281GT
Been slackin on updates here. But sold the mustang and keep the motor and picked up a f150 with a messed up motor for 750 decided I needed a truck more then I needed two mustangs. I'm gonna keep going with this cause I want a build thread for the truck lol So had the whole motor tore apart cleaned up the crank picked up a set of gt500 rods from a friend of mine that works at vmp so the bottom end should be good for 700ish now. Picked up a set of low miles heads with stage 2 comp cams in them also have the 6 pound lower pulley Forged short block back together Long block ready to go back in the truck
97_281GT
Started tearing the truck down last weekend got the whole top end apart Also found out the 4r70w in stock forum will not hold up to the torque of the lightning motor so didn't have a few grand to spend on building a motor so I looked around for a 4r100 swap ended up finding a complete swap minus ecu for 400 bucks and picked a ecu from the bone yard on Wed so that will all be getting swapped in with the motor Hoping to have it swapped next week fingers crossed

97_281GT
Slowly but surely coming together Hoping to put the trans in next week. Got the correct fuel rails coming to me and ordered a automotive 340 pump. Just needs a few more small things for the trans and some wiring and I think I'll be ready to fire it up soon
97_281GT
Well got all the wires extended yesterday and got the motor pretty much together. Just need to make a cop harness for it. Today I attempted to put the trans in but the pilot bearing from when it was in a mustang would not come out at all so that didn't get done today but did get the front end off and installed the trans cooler picked up all my hose and an fittings I needed. Should be getting my heat exchanger and tank in the next couple days getting closer day by day

97_281GT
Well didn't get the trans in ended up being to heavy it broke the trans jack and fell over so gonna take it up to a buddy of mine have him install the trans and build my exhaust while he has it But today got my dual 14" electric fans to get that swap done since the truck had the wrong water pump in it. Was actually cheaper to do electric fans instead of the correct water pump lol
