My 88 Fox Coupe. White Trash...

Recommended Posts

Always wanted a clean coupe. I'm a very hardcore Fox guy for those who don't know me. This has to be a VERY fast street car, with a stick, that I can drive anywhere. I'm about to start ordering parts to build a 7k RPM stock block Windsor 357, this weekend. I'll hit it with a 200 shot. Maybe get it down to 2600 with a full interior n stereo. What tricks would you like to see? Let's talk about it all. All ideas are welcome. This is a car that I'll be keeping for life. Here she is. Prepping for paint now.

Ive been saving those OEM 10th Anniversaries for this for about 4 years. I knew the right car would come along someday. And I was right. I've been waiting for this.

i would love to offer up suggestions but i typically go way out of the the mustang box. i see the 5 lug conversion though so i'd def get a wheel that ya dont see on any fox. those look to be the 10th anni's??

what color are you painting it?

Fox coupe + windsor swap? I'm sold! It's gonna be awesome when finished.

I've always said how I generally dislike anniversary wheels on anything other than a fox. Something about anniversary wheels just looks perfect on them. Foxes can do that with a lot of wheels that look so-so on SN's. 94-95 and 96-97 cobra wheels, 98 cobra wheels, 99-04 GT wheels, Tri-bars...you name it, they all look great on a fox body for some reason.

Well. Update. Decided on building a Dart 363. Sportsman 8.2 block, BIG Canfield heads, comp rockers, Scat 363 forged rotating assembly, stud girdle and some other cool little things. Also, I got a new set of wheels for it, which is going to make me paint it black. Enjoy.

Expect ine NASTY mother fucking car to pull out of my garage in the spring. Looking for 450-500 wheel, plus a 250-300 shot of dope, in hopefully, a 2800 pound car with me in it.
