Maximum motorsports solid steering shaft, new install this weekend, was waiting for headers to come out to do it since my kooks custom headers wrap around both sides. Also massaged fire wall for header clearance with old Mac 1 3/4 when setting motor 1 inch back

Awesome man! I also love the wheels, fits the theme of the car perfectly! The V3 is gonna make that thing a monster :thumb:

What block is the new motor going to be based on? You may have mentioned it in your intro thread but I can't remember.

It's actually going right on my 352.3 10.5-1 r block motor with a new custom .700 lift bullet cam (im confirming witg my engine builder the specs i want on saturday) with my tfsr225cnc and intake shown. Going to make a new elbow and make tb point foreword to the drivers side for the piping set up I want. Only problem is now figuring out what pulley ratio to do to not over spin the blower. Also going to call vortech tomorrow to maybe get a billet wheel in it so I can spin it higher and push more boost into my motor.

nice updates sorry to hear about your lifter , car is looking good still i too like the wheels

Thanks man. Yeah stuff happens I guess. This will be the 3rd time fixing the motor this year due to things that were not my fault. Machine shop line bored the block wrong and didn't use a bore plate and ruined the motor in 72 miles back in April. Here's a few pics of the carnage post-584-13881838783665_thumb.jpg

Yeah. Been a bad year lol. Seems like everything that has to do with someone else has bit me in the ass. Hopefully I get it right this year sometime so I can sit in the winter and replenish the old savings account.

Ah my bad, for some reason I was under the impression you were building a new motor. You should be able to cram a nice helping of boost into that R block without many worries :thumb: hopefully you'll have better luck with parts this time around

Lol I would love to stop working on it, things just keep breaking, then I get out of hand and change everything lol

that's always the case. at least your doing something different just about every time though.

Yeah, I like to do things you won't see on anyone else's car. Problem is it usually costs a lot of money and time. Sometimes I think I like working on the car over driving it lol. I kid I kid

Got a little bigger vortech for the build. Found a good deal on a polished ys from a friend of a friend and sold my new v3 kit for 100 more then I paid for the ys kit all in the same night!! Felt lucky.

Had a little to Much fun wheeling, buddy hit a tree that was down that I was stuck on top of and threw him into my fender. Looks like I'm playing body guy this weekend instead of working on mustang. ?

Good deal on the YS trim! You definitely got a steal on that, especially considering you would've either had a nice chunk of change in polishing the V3 or had a lot of time sunk into polishing it yourself :thumb:

when you put that intercooler in will you have to trim some on your front bumper or will it just sit right in there no probs?

Ill have to let you know. Just by looking at it I don't think ill have any issues. Dan has the same intercooler on his actual procharged set up. I don't think he did any trimming
