The almighty EPIC engine bay thread

Here's my invision of tucking a bay:

Remove bumper hood and fenders. Take everything off the inner fenders on the engine side and put it on the fender side. If it doesn't fit, extend wires.

Then smooth smooth smooth smooth and smooth some more

Well when I get my garage and the suspension all installed... and when I get a bonus to afford paint... I'll take pictures lol.

Man it isn't even that hard Lol snip wire, cut new wire to length, strip ends, heatshrink, twist, solder, rewrap, BAM!

I agree... But since its my DD, I can't afford that much downtime. Not yet anyways. Wifey and I have discussed a cheap $500 or less beater for A to B. if that happens(if i stay here and not go to Japan) it would be probably with tax return money.

Tapatalk made me do it!

It's common to swap the motor on a 240SX, but Zach Mills decided to stick with the factory SOHC KA24 motor and made 600HP on C16 with a Precision SC61, a PTE 46mm wastegate and Precision 1200cc injectors

Nissan Skyline R33 GTR has a fully-built RB motor fitted with a Precision 7675 journal bearing turbo and made 919 AWHP at just 1.7 bar. It also races over 15,000 miles each year

Wow there's some really great engine bays in here.  I'll admit I have never really gone looking for bays in cars outside my own interests, which is pretty much American cars.  Gonna have to look through this real good and take notes, maybe find some good inspiration and ideas too.  I wish my computer wasn't dead because I have literally thousands of pictures I've saved over the years of Mustangs mostly and other American cars and a good chunk is engine bays that I could add here.

It's definitely a V12, and judging by the air filter arrangement I'd say the quad turbo guess is probably correct. That was the only picture they posted of the car on SH, and there wasn't much information. What I do know for sure is, it's badass.

EDIT: A little digging and I know the story behind the car... it's a kit car replica of a Diablo with a quad turbo BMW V12, Wilwoods, AirLift air ride, etc. See video and article below.

Yea the person who wrote that obviously isn't too bright. Those Wilwoods are more than adequate for the car. The whole article had a negative connotation to it, really I don't see anything to hate on. It's a well built replica and probably hauls major ass.
