Orange 94
so is this a canadian based wheel company? rennens maybe? lol No not Canadian made.Typically companies don't hold stock and typically they take 4 months to arrive even if they're already made. Orange 94
Lol Tabres. I saw friends arguing about that the other day. I think it's weird haha. I like both companies but fifteen52 took one of those designed from Ferrari. So work is now making a rep of a rep... dafuq. It must be the new company president. Oh well. The wheels I like aren't super fancy or light, but I've been fond of the design ever since they came out and I know they're manufactured top notch Lanter 1-2 weeks I believe.Tony where is the show girl? With big boobs...
95riosnake
Honestly, if Work is making reps, I don't have a problem with it lol. At least they'll be high quality reps. Rep wheels have a bad name because they're usually made of elmer's glue and metal shavings by Chinese babies. And yea, Fifteen52's wheel designs are inspired by a lot of vintage exotic wheels, so it's not like they were "reinventing the wheel" < pun intended I tried to talk my father in law into a set of 3pc Fifteen52 Outlaw 001's for his LS1 944 project, he saw the price and questioned my sanity lol. Tabres
I'm probably the last person that would ever care about a company making or someone running replicas on their car. I really don't understand the ego some people get over having genuine wheels. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you have coming! I'd love to have a set of Work Meister's on my car. Work Wheels Japan is the only site that lists those wheels. Work Wheels USA doesn't list those under their Seeker series. I personally see no problem with Work Wheels selling them in countries that fifteen52 does not service. Just my
Orange 94
Fifteen52 does have distributors in Europe and Australia to my knowledge. I believe the new work wheels aren't displayed in US yet because they're new. US doesn't display the newest 2pc emotion series but I believe ravspec is selling them? Orange 94
Hola! The wheels arrived. 2 day shipping lol. #OvernightPartsFromJapanThank you Johnny at REV Competition Products!CR Ultimate (Kawami) Bronze Deep Concave Face18x9.518x10.5I test fitted the front because I've been very worried. Everything fits... except there's no way for the caps to fit on. Disappointed because the caps look so nice. Oh well. Also the only place the wheels almost didnt clear was over my hub... not the diameter but the actual height is almost he same. I was planning on running a spacer on the front, I may not need to. Should buy tires, put it on the ground and then decide.I haven't tested the rear, I don't expect any issues with fitment. I was however under the impression that 18x10.5 was going to be ultra deep concave face, but there was only +23 offset in stock which are actually the original face and not the new face. When ultra deep concave was introduced 18x10.5 +22 and +15 were give that face. I think it would have looked better with a bit more concave on the rear, but I'm not too upset.Anyways, here are some pictures.I'm assuming people were expecting fancier work wheels, but I've always been fond of these. I also know not everyone is going to like bronze on orange. Wanted to try something different, we'll give it a shot. Worst case I powder coat them.IMG_6616 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6618 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6619 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6627 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6628 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6633 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6641 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6644 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6647 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6651 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6653 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6659 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6664 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_6665 by Richard Brown, on Flickr

Orange 94
Well tires showed up yesterday. I went with Nitto Invo 265/35/18 Front 295/35/18 Rear The rears really fit much better! That tire really helps fill the rear and fender gap is near the front. Doesn't look like it needs to be lowered so badly! The fronts actually fit pretty bang on! They sit against the strut boots but have about a finger between the wheel and the actual strut. Going to try to trim the boot and go from there! Think I can avoid spacers until the day I got really aggressive with coils/bags. The bronze on orange definitely looks much different! I was pretty nervous about it but really like it, I think I can make it work! Anyways, here are some poor pictures. I'll likely be putting insurance back on the car for the weekend, I'll take better photos then. Orange 94
I took off the hub dust cap and tried to put the caps on... still no go. The rod/nut still extended out a decent amount. A friend even let me try his tall style work caps and still no go, though they were incredibly close! So I'll run capless on the front. I may eventually whip something up on solidworks for a machine shop to make. The dust caps luckily don't look too horrible.

Orange 94
Glad a exceeded everyones expectations First drive last night. My struts were all the way soft, so I changed them to all the way firm. Never realized they could go so stiff, almost feels like coils. Anyways, a bit of rubbing on the plastic lining over big bumps. Its the same place the other wheels rubbed, I can trim the spot a bit. The wheels do grind the A arms at full lock :(. Looking at ordering steering rack limiters and/or a couple spacers to try. But very happy! Drove the car to work today, going to try to take better photos when I get off!

Orange 94
Thanks guys! Picked up steering limiters yesterday, just need to install them. Here are some pictures, not terribly happy with the pictures still. I also found out my Canon T5's autofocus is out of calibration and probably has been for awhile... if I can't convince them to extend the warranty it'll likely not be worth fixing.IMG_7329 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7336 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7351 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7355 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7348 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7357 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7373 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7375 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7376 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7383 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_7390 by Richard Brown, on Flickr
Prokiller
fitment is spot on but personally, and i can't believe i'm actually saying this, i think i liked the bullets better. i think the wheels make the the car look really dark now but the theme of the car has been light and bright. perhaps a blacked out roof would pull them in, or black headlights. but that's just my opinion. Orange 94
UPDATESN95 Mustang by Richard Brown, on FlickrRear Profile by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_1323 by Richard Brown, on Flickr Well other than the wheels I haven't been able to do much with the car. Too busy for the first part of the year taking care of my grandparents. My grandpa finally got moved into a dementia unit, grandma got into a lodge and their house sold quickly. Once that was sorted out, I just didn't have time to order parts and get them installed. Oh well! A bit of cleaning tomorrow and off to Driven! Should be fun. Basically I've been able to change the oil and a few things. Got some Royal Purple and finally was able to find a K&N oil filter in lethbridge to fit my car.IMG_2191 by Richard Brown, on Flickr I played around with center caps again. I bought some highrise caps that I tested before. They were so close to fitting if I removed the wheel bearings caps. I bought them and was going to make it work, but upon further inspection... the wheel bearings aren't sealed. So I need the bearings caps. Maybe I'll eventually get around to making something work. For now I just install the rear caps.IMG_2189 by Richard Brown, on Flickr I changed my drivers airbag! Much nicer condition bag. I also swapped out my passenger bag (PITA) with a black one. When I got it all installed I found out the passenger bag has a different connector (ever so slightly different). I wasn't sure if I totally liked the black anyways, so grey went back in. BEFOREIMG_2144 by Richard Brown, on Flickr AFTERIMG_2187 by Richard Brown, on Flickr I also gave my aircleaner cover a super quick polish. It's been stained with water marks for awhile now and bugging me. I'd like to polish the scratches completely out one of these days.IMG_2143 by Richard Brown, on Flickr Finally I installed my window/door controls. Thanks 9838stang BEFORE:IMG_2182 by Richard Brown, on Flickr AFTER:IMG_2183 by Richard Brown, on FlickrIMG_2185 by Richard Brown, on Flickr I also have these wheel stickers. Not sure if I'll put them on or not...IMG_2193 by Richard Brown, on Flickr I think that's all I'm going to get done for Driven. Clean the car up a bit more tomorrow and get myself up to Calgary. Orange 94
I got the tune updated on my car on Friday. The power is the same, but we made some drive-ability changes. I decided to go up to Calgary Thursday after work and met up with some friends for pictures. IMG_3571 by Richard Brown, on Flickr IMG_3652 by Richard Brown, on Flickr More pictures here:https://www.flickr.com/gp/130531646@N07/mj0PNE Anyways, there was some issues with the tune below 2000rpm. I'm not sure if it was possibly causing issues with the misfire, but I've really been through everything else that could have caused it. I think if there was a serious issue with the engine it would be an issue at higher rpm and not just an intermittent thing at lower rpm. It seems very healthy wide open and I've been happy with that part of the tune. The issue was an in-balance in the fuel trim from side to side. What was causing this I'm not totally sure, there are a variety of reason this can happen - it could just be the flow characteristics. With any super mod car, there are quirks that are to be expected. It was adjusted and the car is much smoother and doesn't studder in the lower rpm. Very happy with the tune so far.
