Man just when I thought I was done looking at build porn for the night, I opened your thread! Rear end looks awesome! Are you now completely braided from the master cylinder back to the calipers?

you never want to run any more flexline than is need, flex in your brake line is no good. I replaced all the stock rubber and hardline. Braided stainless for all the rubber and stainless hardline for the rest.

Thank goodness I'm doing one thing right. Just need to get some stainless line to replace my hard lines.

Ah okay cool! What's the reasoning for that out of my own curiosity?

Flex in the line leaves a high percentage of losing dynamic pressure. Stainless flex and rubber have a tendency to swell and compress. (Breath through a close ended straw). Keeping and hard line keeps flow open and no chance of kink. At 3000 plus hydraulic pressure doesn't fair well to full on contractions.

...and can it please be ready for Carlisle this year?! Kay thanx.

This. And you gotta let me know when you come over too Steve. I live close and I think I'll put my car in the show Saturday.

And yes, I do need to see this beautiful car in person.

No major work still vacationing at the moment. Helped chris out a couple days, met up with Tew a couple times other than that just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather.

I have a few projects down here with me but none of them are even close to completion.

Steve I do love Carlisle but I don't think its on my list this year as the Laconia rally will be at the top of my list this year. The other thing is Im not rushing this project for any of the shows, when shes done shes done. I don't want to do what I did the first time around, so timelines are meaningless to me at the moment.

you still going to come to carlisle this year or just forgo it completely for laconia?   i'm doing both this year.

Leaving Carlisle up in the air at the moment, All depends on how long it takes to get my interior back from the upholstery guy as I still have fab work to complete on the interior and wont be getting it all sent out until spring time. Plus Ill have to take it in for the cobra top once its up running and tuned. Still a ways to go before shes done but Im in no hurry as I said before...when shes done shes done and I mean 100% not going to leave anything unfinished like the first time around.

Thanks steve

rich I hope you can make both events I too will be doing both

Troy does that mean your gonna blow the dust off ole Yeahloh and pull her out of the garage or will you be driving the new toy?

Im hoping to make both but Carlisle isn't really a priority, Id rather use that time to finish prepping for Laconia  as Im sure I will still be under the last minute thrash to have it all done by then. Even if it comes down to the point of having a couple of things not finished Ill leave the car home and drive up in the daily. This way I can see how your new to handles the NHMS lol

back on topic rich when do i need to take a trip up there to help easter weekend ?

Whenever you want troy just don't really know what will be left by then, as Im pretty much buttoned up on everything except a little fab work in the interior. Im sure they'll be something though just have no idea what lol.

Anyway another interior project im getting underway on will be the console. Wont have updates for a bit as this little project will take some time to fab up then its off to my interior guy with the rest of the stuff. I will get some pics up before and after it goes out to him though.

Basic supplies to get going lol

Tony this is one car I would never change the exterior color on... Black will still be the interior color, just haven't decided on exact materials until I sit down with my my guy and go over everything.

side thought....did you ever figure out how you were going to run your tailpipes with the shortened rear/tubs?

Ryan the complete tail assembly will be custom like the Alans  ttcoupe.

Im back bitches! Back home that is lol. Walked into the shop for the first time in five months and dam what a mess. I totally forgot that I had picked up a bunch of cabinets the day I was leaving for Florida and just unloaded them right before leaving. So for the past couple of days Ive been ripping apart old makeshift benches, shelving and tables trying to make room for all the cabinets. Pretty much got them moved in, just need to hang a few more. They may not be the prettiest right now but its still to cold to mess with them plus I couldn't even walk around the shop with them stashed all over the place. Come summer Ill pull them out and hit them with some black epoxy paint to clean them up, but for now they'll serve there purpose storing parts lol. After this weekend I should have everything cleaned up and Ill be back to hammering on the car.

I just got done doing the same basic thing.  Since I started my rebuild I have been buying tools left/right and added some small tool  boxes here/there to hold them.  Finally got tired of all the little boxes and also not having a good work station area in the garage so I went and bought a large 5 ft long box with a wooden top to work on.  First ordered it from sears and was happy to get it $150 off but had to wait 2 weeks till it was delivered.  While I waited it went on sale again and now included delivery with $175 off.....  Ok thanks.  Just got it put in place yesterday and next to my craftsman air compressor with my craftsman vice I bought from my neighbor used last summer it is starting to look like a craftsman commercial in my garage
