Because people don't know any better. Judged car shows are a joke now. I attend a few locally but that's just an excuse to get the car out of the shop and meet up with some like minded car people. The GT next to me was an older guy who bought the car and fixed it up and was planning on giving it to his son. Had a nice kenne bell on it.
